THAILAND’S NEW BANKNOTES “PHUKET SMART BUS” TO LAUNCH IN APRIL

r. Phongphanu Sawetarun the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism and Sports was the opening speaker at the “Phuket Smart Bus” Grand Opening. The event was attended by Mr. Naraphat Plodthong the Governor of Phuket, administration from Phuket Community Development Ltd (PKCD), Mr. Banyat Kantha from Phuket Transportation, affiliated departments and media.

The Phuket Smart Bus blue line route will start at Phuket International Airport passing through all the major tourism locations including Surin Beach, Kamala Beach, Patong Beach, Karon Beach, Kata Beach and ending down at Rawai Beach. The entire route is 56 kilometers long with over 50 stops both ways and 32 trips set per day from 6am to 8pm. Each bus is expected to leave on 45-minute intervals with a total trip time from start to finish of 2 – 3 hours.

The new version of the THB20, THB50, and THB100 bills will be released on April 6, a holiday that commemorates the establishment of Thailand’s current Chakri Dynasty.

The Bank of Thailand today unveiled updated banknotes that feature images of the country’s current monarch. They will update the ones currently displaying portraits of the late King Bhumibol Adulyadej, who died in October 2016, though the older bills will remain legal tender.

The new version of the THB20, THB50, and THB100 bills will be released on April 6, a holiday that commemorates the establishment of Thailand’s current Chakri Dynasty.

แบงก์ ชาติเตรี ยมออกใช้ ธนบัตรแบบใหม่ เฟสบุ๊คธนาคารแห่งประเทศไทย เผยแพร่ข้อมูลการออกใช้ธนบัตรแบบใหม่ เนื้อหาระบุว่า ตามที่ธนาคารแห่งประเทศไทย ได้รับพระราชทานพระราชานุญาตจากสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยู่หัวมหาวชิราลงกรณ บดินทรเทพยวรางกูร ให้จัดพิมพ์และออกใช้ ธนบัตรแบบใหม่ (แบบ 17) ทุกชนิดราคา เพื่อใช้เป็นธนบัตรหมุนเวียนทั่วไป โดยธนบัตรชนิดราคา 20 บาท 50 บาท และ 100 บาท จะน�าออกใช้ในวันที่ 6 เมษายน 2561 และธนบัตรชนิดราคา 500 บาท และ 1000 บาท จะออกใช้ในวันที่ 28 กรกฎาคม 2561 ประชาชนสามารถเบิกถอนธนบัตรใหม่นี้ได้ตามช่องทางปกติ ผ่าน ธนาคารของรัฐ และธนาคารพาณิชย์ทุกแห่ง ทั้งนี้ ธนบัตรทุกแบบที่ออกใช้ก่อนหน้านี้ยังสามารถใช้ช�าระหนี้ได้ตามกฎหมาย ครับ

The event was attended by Mr. Naraphat Plodthong the Governor of Phuket, administration from Phuket Community Development Ltd (PKCD), Mr. Banyat Kantha from Phuket Transportation, affiliated departments and media.

The Phuket Smart Bus blue line route will start at Phuket International Airport passing through all the major tourism locations including Surin Beach, Kamala Beach, Patong Beach, Karon Beach, Kata Beach and ending down at Rawai Beach. The entire route is 56 kilometers long with over 50 stops both ways and 32 trips set per day from 6am to 8pm. Each bus is expected to leave on 45-minute intervals with a total trip time from start to finish of 2 – 3 hours.

an Hin Lui Village is located in Thepkrasattri Sub District, Thalang District, Phuket. It is famous for a traditional Phuket dessert, known as Sticky Rice Roasted in Bamboo. (0r Khaolarm).

At first, there are not much households making bamboo sticky rice. However, Khaolarm became very popular because of its uniqueness. Khao Larm are selling like hotcakes, Therefore there r more and more villagers cooking bamboo sticky rice to sell. And now it’s the main job of this village.
