PURPOSE
We actively pursue and embrace new approaches and world-class educational excellence within an inclusive and vibrant community.
STRATEGIC INTENT (TOWARDS 2025)
The Perth College Strategic Intent (towards 2025) aims to build on all that has been achieved through the rich history of the School throughout the many years.
As part of this, it is envisaged that the future of education is shifting, and as such, so too is the future of Perth College as it aspires to be proactive and responsive ensuring the growth of exciting new programs, structures, partnerships, experiences and opportunities for the students and the community.
Our Strategic Intent and the associated Perth College Operational Plan will respect those practices, processes and structures that continue to serve the School well, whilst also being responsive to new and exciting opportunities.
Principal’s Overview
Perth College has a strong legacy of educating and inspiring our students to become remarkable women. Our academic and co-curricular programs are tailored to the education of girls in an environment that nurtures confidence and determination.
2023 was a successful year for the School. Our students excelled across many disciplines, our Senior School Musical, Les Misérables, had a sell-out season and we won the IGSSA Athletics Carnival for the first time in 12 years. The Class of 2023 achieved outstanding ATAR results with an average of 91.3 with all students achieving their WACE graduation certificate
During the year, our school underwent a thorough Registration Renewal process and successfully obtained reregistration as an independent school in Western Australia for the next five years. The Department of Education has granted us the maximum term of registration with no conditions or recommendations.
In our broader School community, the Old Girls’ Association celebrated its 110th anniversary in 2023. This was a significant moment in our shared history with many memorable events taking place. The Perth College Foundation, through its Annual Giving Appeal, raised funds for the fit-out costs of the new School building. The building designed to amplify 21st century approaches to learning, is scheduled to open at the beginning of Term Three 2024.
Our new building and other dynamic learning spaces foster curiosity, creativity, and collaboration in our students across our campus. We believe by creating this environment our students can develop knowledge and critical skills they will need in our changing world.
We are proud of the achievements we made throughout 2023 across Perth College and through our Strategic Intent will consolidate and build on these throughout 2024.

Perth College, in partnership with parents, promotes regular attendance of students, as it is essential in maximising their potential at school. Parents are legally responsible for the regular attendance of their children; however, school staff regularly monitor absences as part of their duty of care.
Travel during term time is discouraged to minimise the impact on a student’s learning. Exemptions are granted in cases where students are representing their club, School or State, for example.
The school’s protocol for absentees requires parents to notify Perth College of their child’s absence prior to 9:15 am via the absentee telephone line, SMS or email. For extended absences, parents must complete a form available on SPACE.
