Pediatrics Plus Team Members,

Are you ready for it? 2024 is underway, and I hope that you are ready to see the impact you are making by being a Difference Maker at Pediatrics Plus. I pray that God will show our incredible team members the ways that lives are being changed as children and families are served. I am blown away by the stories that I hear daily about how our team members are willing to challenge and stretch themselves, go above and beyond, and show grit and resiliency to make a difference in the life of a child The work that we do day in and day out is hard – there is no doubt about it. Although it is hard – it is worthy. You are serving children and families in mighty, life-changing ways. As Theodore Roosevelt once said, “The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena ” You are learning and growing and giving your best for our children day in and day out, and we are so thankful for your heart and willingness to be in the arena so that together we can fulfill our mission of “empowering children to conquer their world.”

COO KRISTA TAPP ANoteFrom

This year in 2024 – I strongly believe that each of us are here “For Such A Time As This”. As we look at the world around us, we can see statistics of disability rising and hope diminishing. Pediatrics Plus – we are here “for such a time as this.” You are part of a great story, and I believe there is a divine purpose and timing for you being here as a Difference Maker in the lives of children. Please do not doubt your purpose or your ability. Over the years, it has been proven time and time again at Pediatrics Plus that God doesn’t call the qualified – He qualifies those that He calls Together, we are here at Pediatrics Plus to bring hope, to believe, to push past disability and focus on the abilities that we can control. What you are doing each and every day is truly changing the life of a child. Your presence – you showing up – makes a difference in the life of a child. I often wish that I had a crystal ball or a magic fast forward button that could show each of you the way in which your work today is making an impact for the future of a child tomorrow and for years to come. Remember you are a Difference Maker! You are changing the life of a child. You have a purpose, and if we dedicate our focus on putting all of our strengths and talents together – we can little by little change the world Dr Seuss said it best, “To the world you may be one person but to one person you may be the world.”

It is an honor and privilege to be part of something so much bigger than any one of us. To be part of something bigger than yourself and watch lives be changed by a group of passionate individuals committed to using their talents and strengths to glorify God through serving children and families is a worthy cause that I am proud and humbled to have a part in. Thank you for choosing to be part of a cause bigger than us all. Thank you for choosing to be a Difference Maker at Pediatrics Plus during “such a time as this ”

We want to learn about all of your favorite things! Help us get to know you better by completing the All About M f !

We would like to challenge our team members to live in the moment but with a perspective pointing forward. We want to continue to dream small in each and every opportunity that we have serving children and families, but we want to do it with “Someday” in mind.

At Pediatrics Plus, our vision of empowering children to conquer their world is accomplished day in and day out by our team members. Without you – we cannot accomplish this vision. Pediatrics Plus is able to serve others because of one incredible resource - our people. We don’t just want to point our eyes toward “Someday” for our children and families, we want to challenge you to think about your personal “Someday” dreams. We value our team members and want to help provide resources to see you accomplish your personal “Someday” dreams. Please take time to pause, reflect, and then tell us your top 3 “Someday” dreams.

Thank you for choosing to be a part of Pediatrics Plus!

You Create the Weather: How to Create a Sunny Atmosphere!

Intentionally focus on the positive. At the end of the day, write down three positive events or details that occurred that day, no matter how small.

Remind yourself of your “why.” Think of past or present children that you have empowered to conquer their world.

Keep learning. Attend professional development training, read academic books with new learning theories, join professional learning communities, take courses, and attend conferences.

Surround yourself with people who feel like sunshine! Think of who brings light to your work day!

Fun Fact

Did you know... Chickens on The Farm are fed a certified organic feed and allowed to forage across 8,000 sqft of space, or over 200 sqft per bird? The most stringent certifications require 108 sqft per bird! We do our best to help our chickens stay safe and healthy while allowing them to express themselves, that's our recipe for GREAT eggs!
