Black Fine Art Month™ (BFAM) is a celebration of the Black Art aesthetic, an annual recognition of artists, innovators, collectors, curators and those vested in the Black Art tradition, and an opportunity to commemorate these contributions through
art programming. The celebration affords us a moment to toast the bold gallerists and esteemed art purveyors who revere the aesthetic, drive the value; and invest in artists who are making a cultural impact.
Through this annual recognition event we will accomplish the following :
· Create international awareness for the creativity and contributions of Black Fine artists.
· Develop an art ecosystem, through Black Fine Art Month™, that connects Black Fine artists, collectors, gallerists, and curators no matter where they are.
· Create awareness of the ecosystem needed to support Black Fine artists - collectors, curators, art journalists and authors, institutions, others.
