Come experience the vibrant expression of Afro-Puerto Rican culture through a history of the attire worn in the musical style and dance called Bomba. Dating back to the 17th century, Bomba has been a means of resistance, self-expression, and community building for Puerto Ricans for over four centuries. The upcoming exhibition "Resistencia y Libertá" (Resistance and Freedom) will showcase over twenty dresses, capturing the essence of Bomba and its deep-rooted history from the 17th century to present day.
