Garzon Reserve Albarino
Garzon is the leading producer of Albariño in Uruguay and this wine offers aromas of white peaches, grapefruit, tangerine, ripe apricot and floral notes of jasmine. Fresh and fruity, with mineral and saline notes, Good structure and a delicious mouth-watering finish. Enjoy on its own or with fresh oysters or grilled seafood.
Garzon Reserve Pinot Noir Rose
Garzon carefully selects its Pinot Noir grapes that show fruity intensity for this popular Rosé wine. Elegant pale pink color, intense aromas and flavors of cherries and strawberries, crisp and dry with a long bright finish. Enjoy on its own or with savory quiche, seasonal salads or light pasta dishes.
Garzon Reserve Tannat
This red wine represents the signature Uruguayan varietal that has found its ideal soil in Garzón. Elegant and powerful, this wine greets you with aromas of raspberry and red cherry followed by flavors of black plum, rhubarb and tobacco mixed with dark chocolate and white pepper. Long finish. Ideal partner to grilled and juicy cuts of meat, as well as any braised or meatbased pasta dish.
Garzon Reserve Marselan
This variety was created in 1961 in the south of France as a cross between Cabernet Sauvignon and Grenache. The wine presents enticing aromas and flavors of ripe red fruits, mineral, mint and eucalyptus. A smooth, rich palate and an intense, long finish. Enjoy with juicy burgers, pizza or pork.
Garzon Reserve Cabernet Franc
Garzon’s Reserve Cabernet Franc is an intense, dark purple color with violet highlights, this noble varietal has aromas and flavors of ripe peppers, spices and fruits of the forest, along with subtle notes of dark chocolate and smoke. Pair with an array of grilled, braised or roasted meats.
Garzon Single Vineyard Albarino
This vineyard’s southern orientation assures respite from the intense afternoon sun and direct exposure to the Atlantic Ocean’s breezes. Aromas of mango and pineapple with subtle white flower notes. Fruity and round mouthfeel framed by fresh saline and mineral notes. Enjoy on its own or pair with richer seafood, cheese, nuts, and seasonal salads.
Garzon Single Vineyard Tannat
Sourced from one of the cooler and steeper vineyard lots on the estate. This wine is full-bodied with flavors of cherries, strawberries, plums, tobacco, and dark chocolate tinged with espresso. Aged for 12 to 18 months in French oak Foudres. Pairs nicely with all cuts of beef, lamb or game. Also excellent with grilled root vegetables and hearty soups.
Garzon Single Vineyard Petit Verdot
Garzon’s Single Vineyard Petit Verdot is a brilliant red violet color and offers aromas and flavors of blackberry, black cherry with hints of vanilla and toast. Rich across the palate with a long finish. Delicious with braised lamb, pasta with game and truffles or rich beef dishes like Beef Wellington.
Garzon Single Vineyard Pinot Noir
Garzon Single Vineyard Pinot Noir shows aromas of cherry and rose. Red fruit flavors, a touch of earthiness and notes of mocha unfold across the palate. A complex wine with a long finish. Pairs nicely with roast chicken with herbs, baked wild salmon and herb-sauce pastas.
Balasto
Garzon’s icon red wine is a blend of the vineyard’s most exciting varieties, Tannat, Petit Verdot, Cabernet Franc and Marselan. The first winery from Uruguay, and only the third from South America, to be sold by Le Place de Bordeaux negociants, released on a limited, annual basis. The ballast soil at Bodega Garzón is decomposed granite rock with excellent drainage and minerality, ideal to provide the complexity, energy and vibrancy for Balasto. The wine offers aromas of fresh red and black fruit, complex and elegant spices with juicy tannins, excellent texture and long finish. Uruguay’s Icon Red wine.

Overview: Argento has now become Argentina’s largest organic grower and wine producer. The Argento organic journey began in 2012 with new proprietor and visionary, Alejandro Bulgheroni, with the work of Alberto Antonini, Pedro Parra, and winemaker Juan Pablo Murgia. Less than ten years later, this effort has come to fruition with a new collection of Argento organically-made wines that showcase their pristine terroir. All Argento wines are made with certified organic grapes, and are certified sustainable and vegan. Sustainable coexistence. Fair Trade certification for community support program.
Region/Vineyards: Bodega Argento has over 425 vineyard hectares centered around Mendoza’s prized west and east subregions as well as the higher-elevation, cool-climate Valle de Uco. Five estate vineyards: Agrelo, Altimira, Ugarteche, Pedemonte and Cruz de Piedra each lie between 2,490 and 3,500 feet ASL.
