Starmont Chardonnay
The original Starmont wine, this Carneros Chardonnay is generous and fresh, showing classic regional fruit expression, namely bright citrus, apple, subtle tropical fruits, baking spice and light vanilla oak notes. Enjoy on its own or with an array of lightly creamed pastas, grilled chicken and seasonal salads.

Starmont Sauvignon Blanc
A beautifully aromatic and balanced Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc that shows fresh lime leaf, lemongrass and citrus blossom notes with hints of rich tropical fruits. Enjoy on its own or with grilled seafood, fish tacos and seasonal salads.
Starmont Pinot Noir

Fresh Carneros fruit is front and center for this classically stylish Pinot Noir, showing layered notes of plum, dark cherry and cola spice with a hint of toasty oak notes. Enjoy on its own or with wood-fired pizza, fresh seasonal salads, roast chicken and herb-sauce pastas.
Starmont Cabernet Sauvignon
Balanced and approachable, Starmont Cabernet offers dark berry, herb and toast aromas and flavors over an elegant frame. To achieve elegant restraint and balance, Starmont Cabernet is crafted each vintage from select cooler-climate vineyards spanning Napa, Sonoma and Mendocino. Pairs nicely with juicy steak, an array of meat dishes, mushrooms and savory pastas.

40 Years of Napa Valley Pedigree, Heritage and Fine Wines
Overview: Merryvale Vineyards captures Napa Valley’s heritage and terroir through a collection of handcrafted, elegant and expressive wines that showcase the vineyards and subregions of Napa Valley.
Merryvale was part of the early fabric of the Napa Valley wine industry and makes its home in the first winery built following the Repeal of Prohibition in 1933. It is only natural that a deep respect for Napa Valley land and fine winemaking tradition run through the brand.
Winemaking approach is focused on small lot winemaking with small fermenters, basket press and new French barriques. A talented viticulture team and support from winemaking consultant, Philippe Melka, round out Andrew Wright’s production team.
Region: Napa Valley is considered one of the premier wine regions in the world. Defined by mountain ranges and influenced by its proximity to the Pacific Ocean, the Napa Valley enjoys a dry Mediterranean climate perfectly suited to the growing of fine wine grapes.
The Schlatter family is committed to preserving the winery’s rich history without compromising their forwardlooking plans. Working closely with Winemaker, Andrew Wright, they are keeping a European influence on their winemaking style and philosophy, and preserving the historic winery and Cask Room for future generations to enjoy. Today the family owns just over 42 acres, The Profile Estate, a 25-acre hillside vineyard overlooking St. Helena, and two sites comprised of 17 acres on Mt. Veeder.
History: Located in the town of St. Helena, on the famous Highway 29, Merryvale Vineyards is part of the early fabric of the Napa Valley wine industry. This was the first winery built following the Repeal of Prohibition in 1933 and originally named Sunnyhill Winery, then rechristened to Sunny St. Helena Winery a short time later. An impressive roster of Napa Valley winemaking legends has been part of the winery. Cesare Mondavi was a partner in the 1930s and sons Peter and Robert Mondavi had their first winemaking experiences here. The Christian Brothers, then Bill Harlan and partners owned the property up until 1996 when the Schlatter family became sole proprietors.
