Hey-ho, Jemma and Shooting Star! KLEINMOND - Our local very able equestrienne has again attained very high honours in the Western Province Autumn Showing Championships which were held at the end of April. Jemma Anderson (13) on her horse, Halliford Shooting Star, won the Open Champion Pony Riders Hunter Pony; the Open Pony Riders Show Pony, as well as the Novice Reserve Champion Pony Riders Working Riding Pony. In the Handy Hunter class, the pair attained a third place. These achievements led to Jemma being appointed the Western Province Pony Rider Grand Champion on Show. Jemma and Star have now been invited to the WP showing team trials in Cape Town this week.
