About The Fund The Francis Ouimet Scholarship Fund was founded as a non-profit organization in 1949 and is thought of as The Golf Charity of Massachusetts. Its purpose is to help deserving young men and women who have worked at golf courses in Massachusetts obtain a college education. We provide need-based undergraduate scholarships, which are renewable @OuimetFund over four years.
