De todos los quarterbacks novatos en la NFL esta temporada, solamente UNO ha podido ganar un partido… y fue ante otro novato. En total, llevan marca de 1-10, y ninguno ha lucido particularmente listo.

Mac Jones El nuevo quarterback de los Patriots lució muy bien en pretemporada y le ganó el puesto al ex MVP Cam Newton. Pero en temporada regular la ofensiva de Nueva Inglaterra es… aburrida. Pases muy cortos, pases pantalla, corridas de pocas yardas. Para que puedan anotar, los Pats necesitan series larguísimas de pocas yardas por jugada. De hecho, Mac es el “virgen de las 40”, ya que aún no ha lanzado un pase de 40 yardas en 3 partidos, lo cual muestra lo conservador del plan de juego y lo poco que confían en que pueda ganar partidos solo. No comete muchos errores, pero tampoco tiene grandes jugadas.
