DARIUS JAREN MCCRARY, ACTOR, SINGER and producer is best known for his role as Eddie Winslow, the oldest child of Carl and Harriette Winslow on the ABC/CBS television sitcom Family Matters, which ran from 1989–1998. Another one of McCrary’s notable roles was as Scam in the 1987 comedy film Big Shots, which was his film debut. McCrary’s career as a child actor made it’s film debut in the 1987 comedy, Big Shots. After Family Matters ended in 1998, he was in the leading role of the movie, Something to Sing About; a Christian drama produced by the Billy Graham’s Association. McCrary and his family are founders of Fathers Care; a non-profit organization. The organization is committed to empowering fathers by providing them with resources, providing education, and practical assistance. Fathers Care advocates for the right of every child to have a meaningful relationship with their father as well as countering negative stereotypes of men and fathers. The joy of McCrary’s life has grown with the birth of his beautiful baby girl. Fatherhood and providing services through the Fatherhood foundation is the joy of his life
