WINCHESTER COLLEGE BOYS (CO-EDSIXTHFORM)

Winchester College is one of the country’s oldest and most distinguished boarding schools. Home to 700 boys, aged 13-18, the school welcomed girls and boys as day pupils to the Sixth Form in September 2022. Girl boarders will join the Sixth Form from September 2024.

Winchester has an inspiring approach to learning, combining intellectual rigour with a focus on subjects and global issues not covered by public exams. This is achieved through Div - a place for pupils to think, question and converse, encouraging them to remain actively curious throughout their lives. The result are pupils with a wide-ranging breadth of knowledge and the ability to talk with confidence to anyone about anything.

Surrounded by natural beauty and rich ancient heritage, pupils live in a happy community of boarding houses and can choose from a huge range of extracurricular opportunities. Sport and Music are strong, and a new Sports Centre will open this year. There are Open Days and weekly Registrar Tours throughout Year 5.
