Over the years, our DFW Real Producers event structure has changed. A few things, however, have and will always remain the same. For example, who gets invited and has access to our events. Our events are only for the Top 500 Producing Agents and our Real Producers Vetted Business Partners. Top 500 Agents can invite the agents on their team to join them at these events, if they want to. The businesses that partner with us have been vetted by the top agents, and the Real Producers Team, to ensure they are of the highest quality; these businesses are the ones that invest in our community and truly make this platform possible. For those reasons, we do not give access to outside businesses to our events. Keeping the integrity of what this community is remains very important to us, which is a community of the best-of-the-best that honors and respects one another.
When Real Producers started, we did four events a year per magazine. These events were always high-level social events, and they were awesome. After a couple of years, I felt that, in my opinion, they were a little too rinse and repeat, and I wanted to add some variety to the mix. As we expanded from one publication to four, it has allowed us to create an exciting event structure that you won’t find in any other Real Producers community around the country. Now we increased the number of events that we do each year, and we have five different types of events: 1) Social Events 2) Magazine Celebration Events (only for those featured in the magazines and select businesses) 3) RP Vetted Business Socials (only for our partners) 4) Masterclass Events (Educational events with networking) 5) The ESPE Awards (our Black-Tie Awards Gala in November).
Some events are specific to each publication (ex: North Dallas Real Producers Top 500 Agents and RP Vetted Businesses’ only) and some of them are shared events where we invite the Top 500 Agents in all four publications and the businesses that partner in any of the four publications.
We, and everyone we have talked to, are very excited about these new event structures. Being in these rooms is so special. The agents who registered for our Masterclass Event that we had in February had collectively produced over $2 billion and 6,000 units in 2022 alone. It truly is rare and an honor for us to be able to host these events for you all. From everyone on our DFW Real Producers Team, we thank you for your continued support and for making Real Producers the number one real estate community in DFW. Keep an eye out for your invitation to the next event!
See you soon,

Real Producers has 100+ franchises nationwide and there are four in DFW alone. In each of these markets, we pull the top 500 agents based off annual residential MLS sales volume. Where your broker address is located will determine which publication is for you. This map shows the territories for each of the four DFW franchises. If you are a top-500 agent in any of these markets, you will be receiving a publication every month and have the possibility of being featured at no cost to you!

As Broker/Owner of Altru Realty Advisors, Clara seeks win-win results for those around her.
Clara was initially licensed in 2015, then went on to found her own brokerage with a trusted colleague who served as the designated Broker. She then obtained her own Broker’s license and became the designated Broker of Altru Realty Advisors in
In what can sometimes be a winnertake-all world, it’s refreshing to see the type of results your efforts create each day … helping all sides in a transaction move forward to the next stage in life. That’s something that fuels Clara Torres in her work each day, as well.
“Our mindset is to help all parties involved to create win-win results. As part of that, I like to have smooth transactions with other agents I work with,” Clara says.
“I also think it’s important to be altruistic in any profession that you’re in. I think when you do that, things work out the best that way.”
Prior to beginning her journey in real estate, Clara worked in the pharmacy business for 12 years.
“I was with Target for seven years, and I realized it wasn’t going to do everything that I wanted to have in my career. I had some real estate experience … my husband and a friend started an investment company and purchased their first property in 2013. We bought our first home that year, too,” Clara says.
“During that time, I became interested in HGTV… I realized that I needed to have a real estate license to help with what they were doing. Both of them already had their real estate licenses, as well. They always knew that they wanted to venture into real estate long-term. I thought I could help them and see what it was all about.”
Clara’s first transaction was with a good friend. She ended up committing half of her commission.
“It was so rewarding. I started doing that will all my clients,” she says. “I have a bit of a different philosophy. I have always done that. It allows me to have word-of-mouth referrals from friends and family. It paid off tenfold.”
In addition, Clara has taken steps to help people win in other ways beyond real estate as well. She created Altru Community a non-profit to help first-time homebuyers by providing grants to homeowners for structural repairs.
Away from work, Clara’s passion for her family is central to her life. She treasures time with her husband, Jose, and their two children. They are expecting their third.
“I love being a mom,” she says with a smile. “My family members are my why in life.”
In her free time, Clara loves listening to music. She also enjoys yoga and time on her Peloton and treadmill. She definitely stays active. Through time, she has taken part in 5ks and half marathons.
When it comes to giving back, she likes to lead by example. She has a personal blog called The Altruistic Lifestyle with Clara Torres.
“It’s especially directed toward moms and moms of color to provide needed resources for them,” she says.
“That’s my favorite part about life. I love working … it’s about empowering working moms or other moms. I have a website launching, too. We highlight different non-profits. It will highlight resources for people and moms of color in the entrepreneur space.”
A person’s success can be measured in their willingness and ability to help others. As a result, Clara is one of the most successful people you will meet.
“My goal is to help others and better situations if I can and help out in any way that I can,” she says with a smile. “You can be successful and help others. I really believe that you can try to have it all.”
Congratulations to this month’s Rising Star, Clara Torres, for continually creating win-win results for the world around her.
YOU CAN BE SUCCESSFUL AND HELP OTHERS. I REALLY BELIEVE THAT YOU CAN TRY TO HAVE IT ALL.

You don’t set out to create a solution for your clients that lasts a few years. You help them put a plan in place that can serve them through decades, if not generations.
That’s why it means a lot when you have the chance to partner with others who share that same mindset and approach to their business with you and your clients.
That’s what you get when you partner with Elite Foundation Repairs … solutions that are made to last.
Jefferie Ellison is the Owner and Structural Analyst with Elite Foundation Repairs. The dedication he and his team give to those they work with comes through loud and clear.
“You can’t buy a house if it has foundation issues in Texas. That’s where we come in. We always give our best to make the transaction work where both sides are happy with the results,” Jefferie emphasizes.
“We like seeing homeowners be able to get into their homes and having our name attached to helping make that happen.”
Even before Jefferie started Elite Foundation Repairs, he had a wealth of experience in the industry. He has continued to grow and hone that expertise. In the process, he has also served as a Texas Real Estate Commission instructor.
Today, as the head of Elite Foundation Repairs, Jefferie is proud to have a closeknit team that is able to go above and beyond for clients.
“We have a smaller operation by choice, which allows us to be very customer focused and hands-on in ways that the big operations can’t,” he says.
“We focus on the basics of just taking care of the customers. On every foundation job, because of the nature of it, something will go wrong. Nothing is perfect. But, by being smaller, we can more easily respond, be proactive, and deliver exceptional service.”
Elite Foundation Repairs has a growing team of professionals, including dedicated crew employees. As Jefferie points out, there is a true sense of commitment across the board.
“From our Structural Analysts to all of our Crew Chiefs and Administrative Staff, we all take ownership in the company,” Jefferie says. “The better the company does, the more each of our team members make, so everyone knows they are truly part of the success of the company. With that mindset, people have an extra incentive to look at what the right thing is to do.”
Those who work with Elite Foundation Repairs appreciate the way the company makes the process straightforward.
“Once we get a call, we schedule a time to look at the property. When we arrive, we assess the situation, and if a repair is needed, we can normally prepare a repair report on the spot— within 45 minutes,” Jefferie says. “During that time, it’s usually very helpful to have the client there, as well, so we can pass on information and answer any questions they may have directly.”
Family time makes life richer for Jefferie, who looks forward to time with his wife, Kala, who is a Texas A&M graduate and also an Owner of the company.
Jefferie and Kala have two daughters — Joss and Liv. In his free time, Jefferie enjoys playing golf.
Those who have had the chance to work with Jefferie and his team know they can count on Elite Foundation Repairs to be fully on their side.
“The biggest compliment I can get from someone is when they say we’re honest,” he says with a smile. “Anyone can lift a house or work on a foundation, but that reputation for doing what’s right is what I’m proud of. We know that when you’re honest and do the right things, good things will happen.”
When you’re looking for a level of professionalism and quality that’s made to last, look to Elite Foundation Repairs.

Where one person who is committed to delivering superior service, two can do even more.
With a shared vision and spirit for delivering all of their best each day, Kelley Theriot McMahon and Lauren Valek Farris make an undeniable impact for those around them.
As Principals of the Farris McMahon Group in the Lakewood office of Compass, Kelley and Lauren represent the impact of tireless service times two.
“We’re really like sisters,” Lauren says. “I don’t know how anyone in this business can go it alone. We have each other covered if one of us is out of town. We are each other’s support network. That’s how we started.”
“Real estate can be a lonely business, and I love working with Lauren … having someone to bounce ideas off of,” Kelley points out. “Every deal is different, and it is very helpful to have someone in your corner.”
Both Lauren and Kelley grew up down the street from one another in Lakewood, though they never crossed paths at the time. It wasn’t until adulthood that their shared backgrounds launched them into the roles of leading Lakewood real estate experts.
Lauren earned her license and got her start in the business in 2010, with Kelley beginning her adventure in 2012.
OWTLauren went to The University of Texas, where she majored in Public Relations. In time, she went back to earn her MBA from the University of Dallas. It wasn’t long before she decided to utilize her entrepreneurial spirit, business acumen, and love of Lakewood’s architecture to earn her real estate license, joining Team Whiteside with Coldwell Banker. From there, she and her team moved to Briggs Freeman Sotheby’s for a year before she and Kelley joined forces in 2015 to form the Farris McMahon Group.
After Kelley finished high school, she went on to continue her education at Texas A&M University. There she was an Education major and went on to teach at Lakewood Elementary. In addition to teaching, she also worked in Austin at the Capital, and she also worked in the non-profit world. Eventually, her brother, who was a mortgage lender, convinced her to look into real estate. She dove in and gave herself a year to see if her choice would work out. It definitely has.
Their teamwork has been very rewarding all the way around. In fact, in 2022, their team accounted for $56 million in sales volume representing a lofty total of 68 transactions.
The passion they have for their work is easy to see when you talk with them.
“I really believe that you get out what you put into it. I enjoy the hunt,” Kelley says. “We are matchmaking for our clients and trying to find the right fit for them. At times, it can be very challenging. We aren’t just REALTORS®. We wear different kinds of
hats. As part of that, we try to man age their expectations and help them find what they want.”
As Lauren says, “It’s fun seeing the smile on my client’s face at the end of the day. It’s so rewarding to see their dreams come to fruition.”
Family Foundation
Family time makes life richer for both ladies.
Lauren looks forward to time with her husband, Davey, who works in home and auto insurance, and their three sons — 10-year-old, Wesley; 7-year-old, Wright; and 3-year-old Truett (Foxy).
In her free time, she has a passion for giving back. She serves as Secretary of the Lakewood PTA and also serves on the board of the Lakewood Early Childhood PTA. She also likes to patronize local businesses and also have fun at White Rock Lake, walking, and riding her bike with her children. She loves watching her boys play baseball and football in neighborhood leagues, as well.
Kelley treasures moments with her husband, Mark, who is a financial advisor, and their children — 16-year-old, Lindsey; and 13-year-old twins, Michael and Mary Kate.
In her free time, Kelley has an ongoing love for playing tennis. In fact, she is part of a team at Lakewood Country Club. She is also engaged in her children’s PTAs at Bishop Lynch and J.L. Long. She also enjoys supporting her children in their various
school and sports activities. Travel is also a favorite.
Relentless Pursuit
One of the secrets of the success that Kelley and Lauren have assembled through time is really no secret at all … it’s the result of doing the right things consistently through time.
“I think about how I would treat my family in these situations that we encounter through the process of working with our clients,” Lauren says. “If I think something is a good idea or a bad idea, they know that. I take my fiduciary duty to heart.”
Kelley feels the same way.
“I’m a straight shooter. I’m very loyal to my clients and do what’s best for
them,” Kelley says. “We know this area very well. One of the keys to being successful in this business is you really need to know the streets and schools,” Kelley says. “We pride ourselves on being the neighborhood experts. We know the history of the neighborhoods. We have a wealth of knowledge of how the neighborhoods have changed.”
With deep local roots, true teamwork and pride, Kelley and Lauren represent the possibilities that come with relentless service.
We’re really like sisters.
While it can be argued that perfection is hard to come by — if not impossible — one thing that can be guaranteed is the effort that is given in the process of attempting to reach it.
That’s the dynamic at work with Kodi Nelson.
As a REALTOR® with Rogers Healy & Associates, Kodi gives an all-in effort … a picture-perfect approach on behalf of her clients.
“I love the fact that what we do is a business of people. No two of our clients are alike,” she says. “I always like having the opportunity to learn and tackle a new project.”
Kodi’s picture perfect approach is something that has long been part of her life … even before she got involved in real estate. That’s because she has been a full-time model since the time she was a teenager.
“I met a lot of interesting personalities and got to travel the world and have unique experiences. I did that full-time for 12 years and still have an agency,” Kodi remembers.
“As I got older and my focus was on starting a family, I had a couple babies, and thought that I wanted to be a stay-at-home mom. But something was missing. I missed the hustle and productivity that came from working outside the
home, so I jumped into real estate full time.”
Kodi earned her real estate license in 2016, finding a natural partnership with long-time friend and colleague from the fashion world, Maggie Parks. Today, the two form their own team accompanied by the hashtag #ModelRealtors.
“It’s a play on the word model, which means the ideal. We have fun with that. We don’t claim that we are perfect. But we give our best all the time and yet we poke fun at the fact that we are fashion models,” Kodi says with a smile.
The drive that Kodi has for her work is contagious.
“I’ve been self-employed since high school being a model,” she says.
“It’s a mentality that the way to provide is by working. It’s second nature to me … and it’s interwoven into the fabric of my life.”
The results that Kodi and Maggie have recorded have been truly rewarding. In fact, through their career together, the two have accounted for over $75 million in sales volume.
Family makes life much richer for Kodi. She cherishes time with her husband of 20 years, George, and their three children.
Away from work, Kodi looks forward to time spent with her loved ones and friends. She also has a passion for travel.
When it comes to giving back, Kodi has a heart for helping. She’s an active member at her church, Fellowship Church. She supports City House, an organization that provides housing for youth in transition from foster care, as well as multiple initiatives through RHA Gives Back.
As she looks to the future, Kodi looks forward to creating more success stories with Maggie in service to their clients.
“I enjoy the ease of communication that Maggie and I share. We have known each other for over 20 years,” Kodi says.
“We can easily fill a gap for the other person that might not be their strong suit. It is fantastic having someone to bounce ideas off of and collaborate with.”
Kodi puts a picture-perfect approach to work to make a lasting difference in the lives of others.
“In the process, we pride ourselves on being flexible and being able to pivot around the needs of our clients,” she says. “I definitely love what I do.”

For the first time in DFW Real Producers history, we hosted an education-style event, and it was a huge success! As mentioned in the Publisher’s Note, we have changed our event structures over the years, and this type of event is one everyone has been waiting for. We had 300 amazing people in attendance. Collectively, the agents who registered for this event did over $2 billion and 6,000 units in 2022 alone. Wild!
Our speaker was John Israel, AKA Mr. Thank You, who gave a powerful message on The Art of Human Connection and what he learned from his one-year social experiment. John tasked himself with writing five thank you cards a day, every day, for 365 days. This experiment radically changed John’s life. Everything from his perspective and outlook on life, to the growth in his career/
business including his own TEDx Talk, and his work now impacting millions of people around the world.
After John’s message, we had time to network and connect with the best agents and businesses who attended. We heard nothing but raving reviews about this event, and we cannot wait for our next one in June. We are extremely excited to announce who the next speaker will be…soon!
Thanks again to everyone who attended and especially to the businesses that went above and beyond to sponsor this event.
See you at the next Real Producers Event!
Jordan Espeseth DFW Real ProducersReal Producers magazine started in Indianapolis in 2015 and is now in over 100 markets across the nation and continues to spread rapidly. Real Producers first launched in DFW in August 2018 with North DFW Real Producers (now called “North Dallas”). In May 2019, Dallas Real Producers launched, and then Tarrant Real Producers in March 2021.
In 2022, Tarrant Real Producers split into two publications, North Fort Worth and Fort Worth Real Producers. Fort Worth Real Producers launched in August 2022!
Q: WHO RECEIVES Real Producers MAGAZINES?
A: The top 500 real estate agents in each of the four markets in DFW, based on their annual residential sales production for the previous year, as recorded on the MLS. Refer to the map in this publication for the exact territories. If your broker address is within that given territory, and you are in the top 500, you will receive that publication for the year. There are approximately 60,000 licensed real estate agents in DFW. The list will reset at the end of every year and continue to update annually.
Q: WHAT IS THE GOAL OF THIS MAGAZINE?
A: We believe that we are better together. When we surround ourselves with other successful, like-minded people, we grow to new heights. Real Producers is a platform that brings together the most elite individuals in DFW real estate.
We take the top 500 real estate agents and RP Vetted Businesses in every market, and we build an exclusive community around that group. We share their stories, successes, market trends, and upcoming events — really, anything that will connect, inform, and inspire, we put in our monthly publication.
It is important to note that Real Producers is not a brag book. To be in the top 1-2% in your
field takes a lot of grit, passion, hard work, trials, tribulations, and a strong “why” to keep pushing on. Real Producers is about sharing and honoring those stories and humanizing you and your peers to create a culture of honor and collaboration that propels us all to the next level.
Q: DOES Real Producers HAVE EVENTS?
A: Yes! Each year we have several events. Some are specific to each territory, and some are shared events for all four DFW Real Producers markets. We have several different types of events, such as magazine celebration events, partners-only events, social events, mastermind/educational style events, and of course, the annual black-tie awards gala called The ESPE Awards. For these events, we invite the top 500 real estate agents and our RP-vetted businesses. Top 500 agents are allowed to invite members of their team, as well. These events are an incredible opportunity to connect with the best of the best in DFW real estate. It is amazing to see the power in the connections made at these events. Be on the lookout for your exclusive invites!
Q: WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR BEING FEATURED IN THIS MAGAZINE?
A: It’s really simple. You have to be on the top 500 list, and we take nominations seriously. You can nominate other real estate agents, businesses, brokers, owners, or even yourself! Office leaders can also nominate real estate agents. We will consider anyone brought to our attention who is in the top 500 because we don’t know everyone’s story, so we need
your help to learn about them. We cannot guarantee a feature, but we encourage you to meet with one of our team members, support Real Producers and attend our private events to increase your chances.
You can email your nominations to jordan. espeseth@n2co.com.
Q: WHAT DOES IT COST A REAL ESTATE AGENT/ TEAM TO BE FEATURED?
A: Zero, zilch, zippo, nada, nil. It costs nothing, my friends, so nominate away! We are not a pay-to-play model. We share real stories of Real Producers.
Q: WHO ARE THE RP-VETTED BUSINESSES?
A: They are one of the best businesses in DFW in their category, and you can find them listed in our index! We don’t just find these businesses off the street, nor do we work with all businesses that approach us. One of many of the top real estate agents has recommended every single business you see in this publication. We won’t even meet with a business that has not been vetted by one of you and “stamped for approval,” in a sense. Our team will further vet every business to make sure they are a good fit and bring value to our community. Our goal is to create a powerhouse network, not only for the best real estate agents in the area but for the best businesses, as well, so we can grow stronger together. When you meet one of them, be sure to thank them for their continued support and for investing in you and your growth.
Q: HOW CAN I RECOMMEND A BUSINESS?
A: If you know and want to recommend a business that works with top real estate agents, please email us to let us know at jordan.espeseth@n2co.com.
