TLCA Committees NEWS FROM THE WELCOME COMMITTEE The Welcome Committee scheduled three Coffee Socials to welcome new families into our community. They were held on May 29, June 5 and June 26.
TLCA BEACH/ TOTE BAGS FOR SALE Come down to the Chalet and pick up your TLCA beach / tote bag! The bags measure approximately 17“ high by 15 ½ “ wide by 4” deep. The bags are $20 each, are well constructed, hold a lot of stuff, and the lining is water resistant, too!
We presented each family with a small gift along with information about Tanglwood Lakes and the surrounding area. There was a lively question and answer session, and Ralph Graf, our community manager, was there to explain what was happening in the community and what improvements are taking place.
All the residents that attended were very receptive and enthusiastic. They were eager to learn about Tanglwood, and the activities and clubs that are available to them. Members of the Welcome Committee were there to share information about the various groups and when they meet. They were encouraged to join, and become a part of the Tanglwood family. There were refreshments and coffee for the guests to enjoy. The Welcome Committee has decided to wait until the fall before we attempt to hold another social.
