Every year Neighborhood House asks the Peoria community to donate used winter gear to our coat drive These coats, scarves, hats, etc are then given out to those in need to keep warm during the cold winter months This year, thanks to donor and volunteer efforts, 388 coats were distributed to the Peoria community!
For the past few years, Neighborhood House has organized a Children’s Angel Tree program. This initiative connects local youth and families with generous donors who fulfill their Christmas wish lists by purchasing gifts. Not only does this help make the holiday season special for the children, but it also eases some of the stress for their families during this time of year.
