ounded in 1998, local chemical supplier, Curechem, has expanded its local roots into sub-Saharan Africa as well as into the subcontinent with an office in Delhi, India. Its growth is attributed to key strategies and relationships enabling the business to offer clients quality product and competitive prices. Its South African branch serves as a base of operations. The business is able to leverage on the excellent local infrastructure and road network to deliver key commodity chemicals and this has helped the business establish its network. It now has offices Zimbabwe, Zambia, Mozambique and Tanzania
Key to export success is Curechem’s commitment to Total Quality Management. This is a philosophy that extends to all facets of operation. ISO Standards drive its quality programme and is poised for accreditation from the International Standards Organisations. The Zimbabwe office has already been awarded with ISO 9001:2000 in 2006 and its Johannesburg office in 2008. The India office was awarded with ISO 9001:2008 in 2010 and the Zambia office in 2017. The quality chemicals available from the company are making it a one-stop-shop for all chemical raw material requirements central to the manufacture of architectural paints.

Curechem has partnered with reputable manufactures of binders, titanium dioxide, solvents and other additives for both PVA and alkyd paint manufacturing. “Curechem goes the extra mile for its customers by offering technical assistance and troubleshooting services to clients through its experienced and dedicated paint chemists,” says Sean Perry, newly appointed managing director of Curechem South Africa.
