Y10 Work Experience over Easter

51 year 10s will be taking part in work experience over the Easter break. Some year 10s had to take part in interviews, visits and tours of their placements in preparation for their work experience. Students are nervous but excited about what the world of work involves.

Kumail Shah says: “I am looking forward to the opportunity given by Rokeby for work experience and I can’t wait to get started as a manager at a surgery next week. I was given a tour by the placement I am working at and I am really excited to get started. I am expecting to pick up some teamwork and leadership skills. This will help me as my aspiration is to be a cardiologist in the future.”

The performance was fluid and direct The attack controlled the game. Our defence was unbreakable and stopped almost all of Eastlea’s attacks. Goals by Bangali C (1 penalty), Carlos S (1) and Lucas F (1). Man of the match went to Kara S for his calm and controlled manner in the midfield, well done to the boys!
