Makhubo notes that issuing title deeds is about offering a level

of freedom and opportunity that state housing beneficiaries had not previously enjoyed.

Preliminary investigations by the EMPD working together with the City’s Energy Department revealed that the men have been soliciting bribes from unsuspecting residents of the City for some time now.

FOCUS and a Will to achieve a childhood dream is a key to a successful future These were the words of Toka Molopa, aka Tiara whose dream to become a Bujwa dancer is finally paying off. This entertainer from Mogodi village in the Mphahlele area outside Lebowakgomo told our sister publication, Lepelle Review that he developed the love for dancing at a very young age and decided to follow his dream and today he together with his dance group named the Bujwa Boys are the talk of the town is group. “Although my dream to become a dancer developed at a very tender age, it was in 2015 after turning 15 that I started taking this thing serious. And that was after I heeded to Keitumetse Ramodike’s invitation to attend dancing lesson,” pointed out the 20 year-old dancer who later was included to Keitumetse’s dance group. When Toka’s mentor (Keitumetse) left for Cape Town to further his studies just a year after joining him, he was little bit devastated that his dream would reach the cul-de-sec “I later gained my strength and encourage myself that I have to move on with Keitumetse’s presence or not. That was when I decided to start my own

dancing group in 2017,” added Toka whose first recruit in his group was Thabang Mampa who was only 10 years when he joined him. Together with Thabang, the Bujwa boys gained popularity around their villages and were receiving invitations almost every weekend to dance at various events. “Other invitations came from various DJs who wanted us to dance for them, and among the highlights of my early days as a dancer was the incident at Ga-Maja village in 2017 where I was approached by a lady called Lerato Maja who told me that she was impressed by my dancing moves. She then gave me the name Tiara which I still carry as my stage name to this day,” recalled Toka. The Bujwa Boys’ biggest achievement was in 2017 when they won the Bujwa Dancers competition which was held in Seshego outside Polokwane. “That was our biggest achievement as no one took us serious before the competition, and yet we went on to beat 17 other groups on the day,” he said. Among other members who joined Toka and Thabang on the group include Boitshepo Mathabatha and Dipolelo Mazwi who were added to the group in 2018.

SAFA happy with Arbitration outcome

THE SA Football Association (SAFA) is happy with the decision of the independent Arbitrator that has dismissed the complainant claims regarding the ABC Motsepe National Play-Offs decision. The outcome paves way for the staging of the play-offs this coming week. ‘’We respect this outcome and hope the clubs do likewise in the spirit of moving forward,’’ said SAFA CEO, Advocate Tebogo Motlanthe. ‘’The request by those clubs, that took the Association to Arbitration, has been dismissed because they failed to follow proper procedures. The

ruling shows the Association is transparent when it makes its decisions. We allow individuals to exercise their rights to challenge any decision that they do not agree with,’’ added Motlanthe. The Association is now preparing for the ABC Motsepe National play-offs that will run from 9-14 November at the Vaal University of Technology. ‘’In terms of our procedures and regulations, the Arbitration is the final resort, so we consider this matter closed and we are looking forward to an exciting national play offs tournament this coming week,’’ concluded Motlanthe.
