BIG DRUG DEALER ARRESTED It was announced by a combined team of Police officers from Pattaya Police and the Narcotics Suppression Police that they had arrested a drug dealer under the name Singtichai Mayam with the nick name “Po Wat Tam” age 34. Confiscated in the raid was 100 gram of Ya-Ice, a Samsung Hero mobile phone, evidence of money transfers, a white Toyota Revo car, a gray Yamaha Fino motorcycle and many more items related to this case. Singtichai who is considered a really big drug dealer admitted to dealing with
drugs all over the Pattaya and banglamung district area, and stated that he was supplied the drugs from a person in Sriracha named “Benz” and that he bought each time between 100 and 1000 grams of ya-ice for a price of 40,000 baht for 100 gram, he would then sell on the drugs for 50,000 baht per 100 gram. Money was transferred through bank accounts Signtichai said.
FAKE BRAND NAME PRODUCTS
A ell known shopping mall in Pattaya have rented out space to some small shops who have been selling fake brand name products. A raid conducted by the Pattaya Police was targeting these shops and products of a value of more than 600,000 baht was confiscated during the raid. Staff and owners of the shops tried to flee the scene when the police arrived but arrests was
made and the contraband products including jeans, hand bags and other clothing items was taken away as evidence in the case now being processes for the further court cased following this raid. For any potential buyers of these fake products it should be pointed out that buying the products is also a violation of the criminal code of Thailand.
200,000 BAHT GOLD CHAIN SNATCHED A Chinese tourist, who is a swimming teacher in his home land, was paying for some street food when a robber on a black Honda Wave 125 motor cycle came from behind and snatched a gold chain from his neck. The Chinese obviously in shock as the value of the gold chain was 200,000 baht cried for help and people helped call for the assistance of the police, who came to the place of the crime, made initial investigation and now is studying CCTV cameras to identify the thief. We warn anybody to not wear expen-
sive gold chains and be careful how you carry hand bags not to tempt and thief or snatcher to make you a victim of a robbery.
