Using recently installed motors, sensors and its current SCADA system, B&T will capture faults within its asset management system Hexagon to collect, quantify and determine if there are any concerning faults with any of its motors within the ventilation system. • Coney Island Process Improvement: Tasked to assist the DOS Electrical Motors Shop in Coney Island on improving their AC/ DC motors SMS and R&R processes. This project will redesign the process flows, re-layout the space constraints combining the work into one building & improve effectiveness by accounting for the increase in future demand for AC motors and planned decrease for DC motors due to NYCT fleet updates. Deliverables include:(1) Building Layout Re-Design & Improve Aging Equipment. (2) Expedite procurement process on already approved bid request for new AC/DC Traction Motor Washer, purchase new shop materials.
