Held Orders
HOLD
A meal order for a FUTURE meal period may be held if the patient’s diet, allergy, supplement, tube feeding, notes, standing orders, preference change, or if a patient transfer into a new kitchen before the ticket prints. The tickets will not print unless the meal order is reviewed and adjusted. 1. Select HELD ORDERS in the Call Center. 2. Click on PATIENT. 3. Meal order will show ON HOLD. 4. Review HOLD REASON. 5. Click MODIFY to adjust the meal order.
