Mock Unit & Patient

Mock Unit

Mock Units are programmed in MyDining for nursing units that are not interfaced. These nursing units may place a call to the diet office or fax over a list of trays needed. This may include units such as infusion, cancer center, or cath lab.

Mock Patient

Mock Patients are programmed within the MOCK UNIT for associates to update the patient specific diet and allergy information in order to safely place a meal order.

Mock Unit and Mock Patient

To identify a patient, the end user will want to utilize the Ticket Note feature when placing a meal order to document: • Patient Name • Date of Birth (DOB) • Unit / Room / Bed
