NexGen Partner Strategies Pledges to Donate $1 Million To Nonprofits in 2020 B Y TAY L O R C O L E , B E S O U N D P R NexGen Partner Strategies (NexGen), a full-service business solutions provider for growing Arizona companies, has pledged to donate $1 million to local nonprofits in 2020 through NexGen Giving and NexGen Scripts. “Since 2013, NPS Gives has donated over $400,000 to hundreds of organizations in Arizona and has truly become a friendly partner to many business owners and neighborhoods,” said Erik Verryden, NexGen founder. “In 2020, we’re challenging ourselves and our clients to raise at least $1 million to better serve the community.” What is NexGen Giving? Through NexGen Giving, the company’s giveback program, 20% of each client’s payment processing transaction is donated to a nonprofit of the merchant’s selection. Nonprofit clients use the program as a rebate incentive to earn 20% back to their organizations, and businesses donate to the causes dear to them. Even Moon Valley Tattler takes advantage and has had $3,000 given back to Civitan Foundation on their behalf. “Because of NexGen Gives, we have been able to earn back $15,000 and help 15 more families in need after the loss of their loved one in the armed services. NexGen has become more than friends to us - they’re family,” said Darin Fishburn, former CEO of Helping Hands for Freedom. What is NexGen Scripts? With NexGen Scripts, nonprofits who distribute custom-branded NexGen Scripts cards to employees will earn a $1 donation every time the card is used, and save up to 85% on prescriptions at over 64,000 pharmacies. “The free nationwide prescription assistance program was launched to assist uninsured individuals,” said Verryden. “It never expires, is valued for the entire family, and provides discounts on brand name and generic prescriptions.” You can get a copy of the NexGen Scripts card inside the Tattler on page 25.
