SUMMARY

:

This position is a senior implementation project manager role that will oversee the Flandreau Santee Sioux Tribal Health Center's (FSST HC) transition from RPMS to a new electronic health record (EHR – Epic). This role is pivotal in ensuring a seamless implementation, optimizing clinical workflows, and enhancing the overall patient and staff experience. The ideal candidate will possess administrative project management expertise, deep understanding of ambulatory clinical workflows, and a strategic vision for future-state processes. The project manager will be the key point of contact between Epic, our technology partners, consultants/contactors as well as FSST HCs cross-functional teams, including clinical, administrative, and IT staff, to anticipate and address challenges during and after the transition. This role focuses on achieving operational excellence and driving outcomes that benefit patients, providers, and the organization as a whole.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Health Informatics, or a related field (Master’s preferred).

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within a healthcare setting.

• Previous experience implementing Epic or similar EHR systems required.

QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Schedules appointments, check patients in, verifies demographics, assist with obtaining preauthorization’s and coordinate communication between patients and healthcare providers.
