SUMMARY: The Community Health Representative (CHR) provides eligible community members with transportation services for health care appointments, transportation assistance, preventative health education and in-home visits. Responsible for being a liaison between patients, family and health care providers to ensure patients understand their conditions and treatment and are receiving appropriate care.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Candidates with one to two (1-2) years of previous patient care experience or certification as a Nursing Assistant preferred. Minimum qualification:
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean MVR
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must submit and pass pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
• Must submit to background investigation in accordance with Public Law 101-630, title IV, Indian Child Protection and Family Violence Prevention Act of 1990.
• Ability to work with wheelchairs and assistive devices
• Knowledge of first aid and willingness to get CPR certified.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs and know the proper techniques for lifting patients.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in management or human resources plus four (4-6) years relevant experience may substitute for bachelor’s degree. Any combination of related education and/or related experience will be considered if the candidate possesses the demonstrated ability. SHRM certification in human resources a plus.

Police Officer
Tribal Police Officers are responsible for patrolling the reservation and tribal trust lands to prevent crime and enforce laws and regulations, responding to all calls for service, and performing specialized technical, administrative, and/or investigative assignments. Police Officers should possess an understanding of tribal sovereignty, laws, and regulations, as well as the need for enforcement. The principal duties of this class are performed in a variety of emergency and non -emergency situations, which may involve exposure to potential personal danger.
Assistant Attorney General
The Assistant Attorney General will be tasked with the responsibility of prosecuting the Tribe’s Law and Order Code and will work closely with Tribal Police and other local state and federal agencies. The attorney will also assist with matters regarding the representation of the Tribe, Its ’ departments and enterprises. The attorney will handle all adult criminal juvenile delinquency matters.
Paralegal
This paralegal/lay advocate will assist and provide a range of legal support and administration to the Attorney General’s Office. The position is responsible for drafting legal documents, researching various legal topics as assigned by the attorney while p roviding various clerical support to the legal department
