Baseball, Softball, T-Ball Youth Leagues
WPRF Baseball, Softball & T-Ball leagues promote skill development, teamwork, good sportsmanship, equal participation & fun! Registration includes team shirt and hat. All teams practice at local parks. Teams are coached by volunteers or Park and Recreation staff. Rainouts will be scheduled during the week following the season, if needed. Game time will be between 5:15-7:30 pm. REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS THURSDAY, APRIL 14 What you need to know… 1. Teams are organized by practice location. Participants should be registered for the grade level they are in during the CURRENT SCHOOL YEAR (21/22). 2. Wisconsin State Law requires a Parent or Guardian to sign a Concussion Information & Release Form prior to your child playing ball. Concussion form will be signed online when signing up online otherwise will need to be signed in person. 3. All teams are coached by a volunteer coach or co-coaches. If you are interested in volunteering to help with your child’s team, please indicate your interest when registering. A training session will be held, and all volunteers and must attend. All lead volunteers will be subject to Background Checks prior to the season. Volunteers, please fill out a volunteer application when signing up your child, found at www.waukesha-wi.gov. 4. Please indicate participant’s shirt size on the registration form: YS = youth small,YM = youth medium,YL = youth large, AS = adult small, AM = adult medium, AL = adult large, AXL = adult extra large. Any registrations after registration deadline shirt size are not guaranteed. 5. General Waitlist: When leagues are full prior to deadline date, a general waitlist will be opened. Participants from wait list will be offered an open spot when this occurs. No request will be granted. 6. All leagues focus on the fundamentals of baseball and softball and is designed to build a solid foundation for becoming a successful player. Required equipment: Glove, batting helmet. Recommended equipment: cleats. 7. Make up week will be the week of July 25th or on practice night during the season.
4K-K T-Ball Co-Ed T-Ball is a non-competitive program focused on fun, fitness, and fundamentals of basic baseball and softball.
