RONALD DEAN JONES Most Worshipful Brother Ronald D. Jones was born in Buffalo, Missouri and grew up in Springfield, Missouri. He and his wife Susan have two children, Melissa and Jeffrey, and two granddaughters, Trinity and Arabella. Most Worshipful Brother Jones owns and operates Transtar Truck Sales, Inc., which he started in 1991. The Jones family resides in Odessa, Missouri where they are members of the Christian Church. In 1992, Most Worshipful Brother Jones was raised in Mount Hope Lodge No. 476 in Odessa, Missouri, where he served as Master in 1995. For five years following, He served as the District Deputy Grand Master of the 23rd Masonic District, which became the 15th Masonic District after a Redistricting in the 90’s. Most Worshipful Brother Jones was appointed to the Grand Lodge Advancing Line of the Grand Lodge of Missouri A.F. & A.M. by Grand Master, Most Worshipful Brother Larry C. Reynolds in 2009. Most Worshipful Brother Jones has served the Grand Lodge in many capacities, serving on the Long-Range Planning Committee for 3 years, the Ways & Means committee for 4 years, the Masonic Scholarship Committee, and for 5 years as Chairman of the Public Relations Committee. Most Worshipful Brother Jones was also the Chairman of the Midwest Conference on Masonic Education Planning Committee for the 2010 Masonic Year. He also served as President of the Masonic Children’s Foundation in 2012-2013. Most Worshipful Brother Jones completed a four-year term, from 2004 to 2008, on the Masonic Home Board where he served as the Development Committee Chairman. He also served again on the Masonic Home Board as a member of the Advancing Line, serving from 2013-2018 and presiding as President of the Masonic Home Board in 2016-2017 His many Masonic affiliations include: Ivanhoe Lodge No. 446 AF&AM; Heroes of ‘76 Old Glory Encampment; National Sojourners Chapter No. 63; Kilwinning Council No. 19 Allied Masonic Degrees; Charlemagne Council No. 79 Knight Masons; Royal Order of Scotland; Harry S Truman York Rite College No. 167; Missouri Lodge of Research, serving as a member of the advancing line starting in 2012; Independence Chapter No. 49 Royal Arch Masons; Independence Council No. 49 Royal and Select Masters; Palestine Commander No. 17 Knights Templar; Ararat and Abou Ben Adhem Shriners International; 2004 DeMolay Legion of Honor recipient; Ashland Chapter No. 309 Order of the Eastern Star; Temple Shrine No. 17 White Shrine of Jerusalem; and the Scottish Rite, Orient of Missouri, Valley of Kansas City.
