South Molton’s ‘Olympics’

South Molton in Bloom organised a shop window competition with an Olympics 2024 theme across the town.

“It was overwhelming the amount of support and the effort everyone made was amazing,” said SMiB coordinator Sue Harrison. “There were so many unique and fantastic ideas that judging was incredibly difficult.”

Jacqui Footman, South Molton Mayor, judged all the windows on Friday, July 19th.

1st prize: South Molton NFU Mutual

Joint 2nd prize: The Rotary Club and The Shop on the Island

3rd prize: The Flower Shop

Highly commended: John Walker Insurance; The Cheese Larder; Refurnish; The Wooden Frog; Eastleigh Care Homes on East Street and at Raleigh Mead
