Ring of Bright Water by Barry Edwards
The joy of a young otter being released back into the wild with a splash after being rescued last year, and then rehabilitated by the North Devon based charity the UK Wild Otter Trust. Local photographer Barry Edwards was on hand to witness the special moment ‘Henny’ returned to the river for the first time for our June photo of the month. “What a thrill to see her get into the water and swim around before disappearing off downstream, free again as she should be!” Barry told Molton Monthly. “I managed to click off a few photos in the failing evening light as a record of her.
