Performance Measures One of the key components to the festival is our ability to collect impact data.
• We track attendance throughout the festival via ticket sales, and manually count children 12 and under who receive free admission.
• Each festival vendor is required to complete a postevent survey that includes their company data, employee count, sales made during the festival, wholesale leads and future orders gained, their insights for how to make the festival better, plus feedback on how the festival helped their business.
• Through the day-long prize drawings, we are able to determine the percentage of visitors to residents. The prize drawing entry slip asks for the zip code of their residence. We use the zip codes to determine the percentage of visitors to residents. Attendees’ information is also added to the event’s database.
Below is an Event Performance Dashboard which shows the impact of the festival over the years.
