This year, Merion Mercy mourned the loss of one of our most esteemed alumnae and generous benefactors, Frances McLaughlin Maguire ’53. Mrs. Maguire was an acclaimed artist and philanthropist. She continues to ignite the passion for art at Merion Mercy, which is thriving at the Frances M. Maguire Art & Design Gallery. This state-of-the-art facility articulates her legacy for future generations of MMA students. Mrs. Maguire’s generous heart and creative spirit inspire further generosity and creativity from the very place where she was a student.
