Autumn at Wimpole Wimpole Hall, Arrington, Cambridgeshire SG8 0BW Early November is often the best time to see wonderful autumn colours in Wimpole’s ancient parkland and woods. Download a ‘Wimpole Walks’ leaflet and follow one of five walks around the estate or learn more about the tree collection with their ‘Tree Trail Map’. Autumn in Cambridge Beechwoods, Wort’s Causeway, Cambridge CB22 3FB For somewhere new perhaps, a small but impressive wood of majestic beeches with walking trails (dogs on leads welcome). Look out for green and great-spotted woodpeckers, nuthatches and bramblings feeding on the beech mast. Park opposite in lay-by on Wort’s Causeway.
