Mental Health Support Training for Volunteers

Thanks to a grant from Cambridgeshire Community Foundation, we have been able to work with Mind CPSL on a programme of mental health support training for volunteers. At the time of writing, details are being finalised and we will shortly be writing to everyone on our volunteer list asking if they’d like to sign up. Some readers who use RDCT to take them where they need to go, have been worried that we may run into financial difficulties, especially as many organisations already have. Well, worries are over for the immediate future as we have been awarded a National Lottery Grant of £10,000! This was awarded to support the costs of the office to enable us to continue providing transport to our local community. It will safeguard our immediate future!

We continue to offer all journeys to medical appointments, and where possible for shopping, hairdressers and other social needs. Should you need our service, please continue to ring our normal enquiry line (01763) 245228.
