Celebrating World Environment Day

Medline in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico participated in the 50-year celebration of World Environment Day, earning 2nd place in recognition of their contributions to sustainability. Sixteen companies participated in the event including Rheem, Caterpillar, Coca-Cola, Branson and Nuevo Laredo Zoo. The companies showcased how they are working to help the environment and educating the community about being environmentally friendly in their daily lives.

The Medline team creatively showed how their facility contributes to environmental health by recycling and other best practices that support our commitment to building a future where healthcare operates more sustainably. The Nuevo Laredo facility’s efforts reflect our continued investment in scalable, ecofriendly and energy efficient practices.
