Medline employees Get involved in ESG

Over the next few years, the priorities and principles of the new Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) program will become a greater part of day-to-day operations and culture at Medline, building upon the company’s strong commitment to sustainability and positive social change.

This means there are more opportunities than ever for employees to support ESG at Medline. Here are a few ways you can get involved.

Medline Service Corps

The Medline Service Corps is a group of employees committed to volunteering in their communities and passionate about positive social and environmental impact. Recent Service Corps projects have included harvesting and donating produce grown on site at Medline’s corporate headquarters to a local food bank, back-to-school supply collections, participation in local mentoring and tutoring programs, and packing meals for children experiencing malnutrition.

Employee Resource Groups

Medline’s Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are employee-led groups focused on making a positive impact on Medline’s culture and the communities where we live, work and serve. Medline ERGs include Asian Pacific American, Black Employee Network, Disability Awareness & Action Alliance, LatinX Medline Alliance, LGBTQ+, Medline Veteran Engagement Team (M-VET) and Women.

Global Health Initiative

Through the Global Health Initiative, Medline leverages employee skills and expertise to help eliminate barriers to care in low-resource settings. As Global Health volunteers, employees have the opportunity to participate in global health trips— such as the most recent one to Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. This trip focused on establishing a new Medline-funded warehouse for a nonprofit providing essential healthcare in the region.
