San Cai Arts celebrated their year-end Christmas Party to recognise the significant people helping the arts organisation survive and thrive. It was organised at the Taiwanese Cultural Community Centre Society office. Prominent Taiwanese and Australian leaders were invited to attend this function. Among the attendees were Cr. Kim Marx, Cr. Steven Huang, Taiwanese Centre Director Charles Qu yang, Director General of Taipei Mr. William

Fan who gave a positive speech inspiring artists to continue to do the good work creating arts and helping the community. The Highlights of the celebration was the refreshing Zumba session, soulful music and dances performed by local Taiwanese community. Everyone was most excited to receive a gift through the raffles. Local shops and businesses generously donated gift items for raising money through the raffle ticket sale. The smiles on the faces of those who won the raffles was
just amazing to see. Leanne Wang President of the San Cai fine Arts International put up a well organised event for all young and old to enjoy and feel good about the festivities ahead. Singing and Dancing on Christmas Carols Leanne touched many a heart. In Her speech, she highlights the activities of San Cai over the years which are commendable. Running an arts organisation is always a challenge, small achievements must and should be celebrated. She also hoped the work continues and the support
from government and the local people continues for the year ahead. San Cai Art gallery advocates the idea of “learning through painting”. The objective is to promote traditional classic arts and crafts, contemporary local art through exhibitions and education. With an excellent team of artists and teachers San Cai has a full schedule of art activities every week engaging local aspiring artists and student to learn from the masters who show their work in the Gallery. Regardless of the age, skill
levels and the personal characteristics of the artists and the viewers, everyone learns through painting, developing their imagination, enhancing their observation and creative skills. San Cai claims that by exhibiting art at their centre artists naturally become more focused, more peaceful, more patient and more persistent indulging in the various creative process.
