Dear Membership,

Fall has arrived, bringing with it some excellent weather over the past few weeks. The golf course is in outstanding condition, featuring the typically fast putting surfaces that come with the season The past few months have been filled with exciting member tournaments and some remarkable golf During the Men’s and Ladies’ Club Championships, Cyrus Stewart captured the overall Men’s title, highlighted by a course-record 62 in the second round and Caroline Ellington claimed the overall Ladies’ Championship We also hosted back-to-back Peartree Classic Men’s Member-Guest in October Congratulations to this year’s champions, Whit Howard and Bryan Pendergraft in the first event, and B.J. LeFavor and Rick Childs in the second event

The Golf Shop will once again host our Holiday Sale on Sunday, December 7th, from 1:00 pm–5:00 pm Enjoy complimentary beer, wine, and hors d’oeuvres while you shop During the sale, you’ll find: 15%–50% off all men’s and women’s apparel & 15% off all clubs, balls, shoes, bags, and accessories. This is a great opportunity to use any remaining golf shop credit earned during the 2025 season as it will expire on December 31st. We’ll also offer complimentary gift wrapping on all purchases throughout the holiday season, so keep us in mind for your gift shopping needs!

Looking ahead, the golf operations team is finalizing the 2026 Club Tournament and Course Maintenance schedules We’re excited about what’s in store, including some new additions and enhancements Be on the lookout for the 2026 Raleigh Country Club Golf Booklet at the start of the year

Congratulations to Preston Hage on his victory in the 2025 AJGA Ping Invitational at The Saticoy Club in California. Preston’s win was highlighted by a course-record 62 in the second round and a 9 shot victory with a 14 under total score

FRIENDLY REMINDERS

As members of Raleigh Country Club, we all share the responsibility of maintaining the exceptional condition of our golf course and upholding the standards of our club Please review the following important reminders regarding course etiquette, dress code, and pace of play

Course Care & Golf Etiquette

To preserve the playing conditions we all enjoy, members are expected to follow these routine maintenance practices every time they play:

Bunker Maintenance- Always enter and exit bunkers from the low side After your shot, please smooth out the area you disturbed including footprints with the rake provided

Ball Marks- Please repair your own ball marks on the greens, and kindly fix any others you notice while playing.

Fairway Divots- Help keep the fairways in great shape by filling your divots using the sand bottles available on carts and at stations throughout the course

Dress Code Standards

To maintain the integrity and tradition of our club, we expect all members, their dependents, and guests to adhere to the established dress code:

Shirts must be tucked in.

Hats must be worn facing forward

Proper golf attire is required on both the course and practice facilities at all times

Those not in compliance will be asked to leave the golf areas and return in proper attire

Denim pants and athletic wear are not allowed on the course and practice facilities at all times

Pace of Play

The pace of play standard is 3 hours and 50 minutes at Raleigh Country Club for an 18-hole round

To ensure that you and your group is maintaining this standard please do the following:

Play ready golf

Stay in position with the group ahead

Limit your turn time

TOYS FOR TOTS

The mission of the U S Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys each year and distribute them as Christmas gifts to children in need within our community Keep an eye on the Weekly Happenings for updates on when toy collection will begin. The final day to drop off donations is December 10. Join us in spreading holiday joy to children and families in our community!

On behalf of the McConnell Golf family and Raleigh Country Club, we would like to extend a big “Thank You” to all for your continued support As in years past, we are asking you to join in on the holiday spirit and contribute to our Employee Holiday Fund Contributing to the fund is a thoughtful way to show your appreciation to our heroes – our awesome staff members from the front of-house to the back-of-house, and all those helping hands who work behind-the-scenes Thank you

While contributing to the fund is voluntary, a contribution will be reflected on the October 31 statement cycle for your convenience. Adjustments to the fund received by November 30, 2025 will be reflected on your November 30th statement The contribution will then be distributed among all Raleigh Country Club employees throughout all departments
