ACTION NEEDED

CMiC Go-Live Timeline and System Education

The new CMiC ERP system will launch in September. Prepare for the transition using the CMiC go-live timeline and CMiC data conversion readiness checklist. CMiC system education is coming July 21 with self-guided virtual courses in SuccessFactors grouped into weekly themes. MHI partners should work with their manager to create a learning journey with training topics related to their specific job duties. All partners will be required to take a 15-minute “Welcome to CMiC” overview course. Read more on the Intranet

Glean Enterprise AI Tool

Beginning this month, all partners will gain access to Glean, McCarthy’s AI-powered enterprise search platform. Glean unifies our company’s knowledge, enabling quick access to information across emails, documents, chats ,and various applications. By integrating seamlessly with the tools we use daily, Glean boosts productivity with accurate, contextaware results. Training will be available via group calls and Success Factors, post go-live. Complete Ethics and Compliance Annual Training by July 11

The training should take two to three hours for partners and slightly more time for managers. As part of this year’s Annual Training, you will also receive a DocuSign email with required Employment Documents to review and sign. Learn more on the Intranet .

Q2 National Safety and Quality Updates

The Q2 National Safety Update and Q2 National Quality Update are now available. Please review these updates along with the supporting links and materials with your teams.

Building Psychological Safety

On June 11, the Workforce & Community Engagement team hosted a webinar about the importance of psychological safety in the workplace. It featured a conversation between Jake Mazulewicz, Director of JMA Human Reliability Strategies, and Mark Skidmore, Sr. Engineering Director of Southwest Solar Operations. Together, they unpacked what psychological safety means and shared practical tips on how to promote psychological safety within their teams, including being more intentional with word choice, role modeling vulnerability and asking for permission before giving feedback. BACK TO BASICS PART 1

A collaborative approach to implementing and measuring consistent policies in the Management System and leveraging corporate subject matter experts to support regional teams and promote best practices. It emphasizes accountability and the use of tools and training to strengthen knowledge and understanding.

Key Accomplishment:

• Management System: 18% increase in unique viewers since last month. Revised technical training provided to Learning & Development for incorporation in onboaring.

What’s Next:

• Next technical trainings to be consolidated and implemented in onboarding plan. Pilot Management System instructor lead training in NorPac.

BACK TO BASICS PART 2

Alignment of regional needs and MHI services will be achieved by closing identified service gaps, resolving identified pain points, and maintaining an ongoing feedback mechanism.

Key Accomplishment:

• Refined scope of business priority to focus on current scope of services provided by MHI to MBC.

What’s Next:

• Following alignment of Corporate Leadership Team on priorities through end of 2025, determine a communication strategy to gain buy-in from National Leadership Team/Chief Operating Officer/Regional Presidents on items to solve during the balance of 2025.

FINANCIAL MODERNIZATION

Focused on CMiC ERP (Q3) implementation as the new financial and procurement system and Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), following successful launch of SAP payroll (Q1).

Key Accomplishment:

• Completed a mock go-live simulation of CMiC and continued the progress on system enhancements.

What’s Next:

• Release the system enhancements and workflows for CMiC and prep for the second mock go-live simulation.

AI TASK FORCE

A temporary business-led team responsible for enabling the enterprise to integrate AI as a key differentiator for the business and future-proofing our business to take advantage of evolving AI opportunities. Built to be a highly productive group capable of sprinting to meet the needs of the business while remaining nimble enough to pivot decision making as technology evolves.

Key Accomplishment:

• Onboard Change Agents to the Glean platform – 101 and 201 training sessions.

What’s Next:

• Launch Glean on July 14, and continue to provide proactive and passive education and training.

• Testing and evaluation of ‘Embeded AI’ in existing platforms starting with CMiC, Procore and Autodesk

SELF-PERFORM WORK ALIGNMENT & COORDINATION

Establish clear guidelines and policies for both new and existing self-perform scopes of work, ensuring comprehensive plan to manage risk and capitalize on opportunities.

Key Accomplishment:

• The CRM opportunity tracking functionality is almost complete. The change management process is currently in progress to familiarize the Regional Leadership Team with the tool. Additionally, the import file has been distributed for uploading project opportunities.

What’s Next:

• Decisions on the CRM ops tracking need to be made in terms of what project scopes should be included. Guidance is needed. Decisions by the regions on responsibility for updates is also required.

STL TAKE YOUR CHILD TO WORK DAY

IRGs Team Up to Host a Great Event

The spirit of building a brighter future was alive during the St. Louis office’s first Take Your Child to Work Day. We had 104 energetic kids — 64 from Corporate partners and 40 from the Central Region — transforming our halls into playgrounds of possibility and learning. Our young guests (who included children, nieces, nephews and special friends of partners) were truly the ‘builders’ of the day, exploring what it means to be part of a company where teamwork, innovation and family go hand-in-hand.

Shoutout to our 11-person committee from Corporate and Central Region Partnership for Women and VOICE along with 40 volunteers who made sure everything ran safely and smoothly. Watch the highlight video:

HELPING OUT A GREAT CAUSE

MHI Gives Back

McCarthy Holdings, Inc. and its subsidiaries were a proud sponsor of the recent Ronald McDonald House 40th Annual St. Louis Golf Tournament and Dinner Auction, which had a fundraising goal of $1.4 million. Partners Brian Nutt, Alex Graves and Heather Jackson played on a golf team while Dan Rolwes, John Kline and Lauren Williams all served as event volunteers. In addition, Jaime Birk and Jennifer Shelton were joined by their husbands at the dinner auction. The tournament and dinner auction comprise the largest fundraiser of the year for the Ronald McDonald House. Thanks to everyone for participating – and for lending a hand for such a worthwhile cause!

Joe Baker | New Title: Systems Manager, Coporate IT

What Joe does - In his new role, Joe will be managing the day-to-day operations, overseeing projects and developing the members of the Server Operations Team.

Fun Facts - Joe attended the same school in South Carolina with former St. Louis Rams defensive end Robert Quinn. Second fun fact — he was also beaten up by Robert Quinn in eighth grade because Joe stepped on his shoes.

Paige Becher | New Title: Senior Accountant, Accounting

What Paige does - Paige will assume more of a leadership role within the Financial Reporting group, including driving different monthly and special projects. She will have additional involvement in areas such as quarterly projections, Corporate AOP process and the development and monitoring of burden rates.

Fun Facts - Paige has been skydiving!

Patty Bigler | New Title: Regional Counsel, Legal

What Patty does - Patty will be supporting our National Water Group from a transactional perspective, including reviewing and negotiating our owner contracts, providing Legal support during the pursuit phase, subcontract and other downstream vendor contract negotiations, and trainings within the National Water Group.

Fun Facts - Patty is a Phoenix native and a two-time Arizona State University grad.

Carrie Branson | New Title: Vice President and Associate General Counsel, Legal

What Carrie does - Upon her move to Texas, Carrie will serve as the Southern Region’s Legal Lead and will sit on the region’s Executive Committee and Leadership Teams.

Fun Facts - Carrie went to high school with famous singer and songwriter Pink — and they were in choir class together. Pink admired Carrie for her mad songwriting skills, which Carrie has continued to develop here. Carrie also led the Legal/Risk/ Marketing Communications team to victory at the 2024 Halloween decoration competition, knocking out the reigning champs with a Thriller theme.

Caitlin Critchfield | New Title: Senior Visualization Specialist, Marketing Communications/Visualization

What Caitlin does - In her new role, Caitlin will be refining cutting-edge visualization tools on large critical pursuits, pushing the boundaries of how we present information.

Fun Facts - Caitlin runs her own Etsy Shop selling crochet animals

Beatriz Daniel | New Title: IT Asset Specialist II, Coporate IT

What Beatriz does - She has shown an innate ability to look at our billing processes and find ways to improve them. In her new role, she will be taking more of a step back to see the larger picture in our asset administration, looking for ways to save us even more money. That’s everything from performing audits on yard billing or cleaning up our licensing costs by finding rogue licenses being expensed outside of our company contracts.

Fun Facts - Beatriz just learned to golf at the annual golf tournament in NorPac!

Lauren Dickman | New Title: Accountant II, Accounting

What Lauren does - Lauren will become the lead of fixed assets, capital expenditures and the external audit. Additionally, she will become more involved in the entity-wide consolidation and reporting of financial results and projections.

Fun Facts - Lauren enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with family!

Ben Donaldson | New Title: Network Manager, Coporate IT

What Ben does - In his new role he will be managing the day-to-day operations, overseeing projects and developing the members of the Network Team.

Fun Facts - Ben currently holds the record for most spilled coffee at work.

Rico Fernandez | New Title: IT Services Specialist II, Coporate IT

What Rico does - Rico is responsible for ensuring all NorPac new hires have their laptop ready to go on day one while also providing day-to-day regional technology support. This includes Tier 3 ticket escalations from our St. Louis HelpDesk, asset management, process improvement and routine tech support visits to our NorPac mega-projects.

Fun Facts - Rico is a true family man at heart. He also has been playing the saxophone for more than 35 years and can also play the Irish flute and harmonica.

Cynthia Gonzalez | New Title: HRSC Lead Representative, HR Operations

What Cynthia does - In her new role, Cynthia will provide support to the team by leading onboarding efforts of new team members, managing special projects and serving as a resource for escalated questions and process support.

Fun Facts - Cynthia likes eating breakfast food for dinner.

Rebecca Gorski | New Title: Licensing Manager, Legal

What Rebecca does - In her new role as Licensing Manager, Rebecca will oversee contractor licensing and ensure regulatory compliance with licensing and annual reporting requirements, bringing a thoughtful, informed approach to a critical area of the business.

Fun Facts - Rebecca maintains an active and outdoor lifestyle, enjoying water aerobics, and attending concerts and cycling events with her spouse, Matt.

Alex Graves | New Title: Regional Risk Manager, Risk Management

What Alex does - Alex supports all Southwest Region projects for Risk Management, providing risk mitigation expertise through contract negotiations, insurance placements and training to help protect the ESOP.

Fun Facts - His son, Camden, was partly named after Camden Yards, home of the Baltimore Orioles. Over the years, he has adopted five dogs, three of which were named after the 1998 home run chase: Mac, Sammie and Griffey.

Jenny Hampton | New Title: Accounting Systems Manager, Corporate Accounting

What Jenny does - Jenny will continue to work closely with project teams, regional and corporate accounting, and other departments to support financial close processes and provide ongoing support across our accounting systems. She will also remain responsible for supervising the supplier setup process. As a CMiC Super-User in the Core Accounting workstream, she will also play a key role in the successful implementation of CMiC.

Fun Facts - Jenny is a proud Mizzou alum! Not only did Jenny attend Mizzou, but so did her husband, daughter and twin sons!

Stanley Hostetter | New Title: IT Services Specialist I, Corporate IT

What Stanley does - In his new role, Stanley will carry his experience from IT Support and Network Operations over to our IT Services team, supporting the Central Region, Corporate and Castle around St. Louis. From providing exceptional new-hire onboarding experiences to Level 3 troubleshooting, we’re excited to add Stanley’s technical and people skills to the team!

Fun Facts - Stanley’s last meal would be a coney dog from Woofies in St. Louis.

Josh Koch | New Title: Business Intelligence Manager, Corporate IT

What Josh does - In his new role, Josh will manage the implementation of Power BI reports for FinMod and build a foundation for the next generation of reporting and analytics solutions.

Fun Facts - An avid outdoorsman, Josh makes an annual trip to the Boundary Waters wilderness area in Minnesota, where he enjoys fishing with his friends.

Ingrid Martin | New Title: Accounts Payable Coordinator I, Corporate Accounting

What Ingrid does - Ingrid is an integral part of our team and has transitioned to a new role within Accounts Payable with a primary focus on processing Accounts Payable invoices.

Fun Facts - Ingrid will be going to Jamaica with her son this year to celebrate her 40th birthday!

Rob Marshall | New Title: Systems Team Lead, Corporate IT

What Rob does - In his new role, Rob will be helping to manage the day-to-day project tasks on the Server Operations team, managing the Level 1 systems engineers, and tackling high-profile projects.

Fun Facts - He currently holds the record on his team for trying different hot sauces in all 50 states!

Kinsley Poepping | New Title: Director, HR Operations, Human Resources

What Kinsley does - Kinsley will continue to lead our approach to compliance, immigration, and HR policies and procedures. That group also includes our talented HR Service Center, which supports employees across the enterprise. Kinsley will lead the build-out of our HR Shared Services model as it evolves to meet the needs of future employees of McCarthy Holdings, Inc. and its subsidiaries.

Fun Facts - Kinsley recently completed the “KT 82 Race,” which is a six-person relay race over 82 miles of the Katy Trail across parts of Missouri.

Hina Rana | New Title: Change Management Senior Manager, FINMOD

What Hina does - Hina leads change management for the FINMOD project, driving efforts in training, communications, change networks and management system alignment.

Fun Facts - Hina played lacrosse in high school — plus, she is the “Queen of Icebreakers!” If you need an icebreaker idea, she’s your go-to person!

Miles Reever | New Title: Information Security Senior Engineer, Corporate IT

What Miles does - Miles will be taking on larger security initiatives, owning aspects of daily operational work and identifying automation opportunities. He will expand upon his already strong collaborative skills and technical knowledge to further strengthen our cybersecurity posture.

Fun Facts - Miles works out of the Dallas office and enjoys spending time with family and raising his two sons with his wife Mariah.

Dan Rolwes | New Title: Tax Manager, Accounting & Finance

What Dan does - In his new role, Dan leads the tax team in ensuring the enterprise remains fully compliant with all tax regulations and filing requirements in income and indirect tax. His team works closely with field operations to proactively identify and address potential tax risks.

Fun Facts - Dan’s family started a goal of visiting all the national parks and having his kids get as many junior ranger badges as possible. They are early in this journey but so far have earned 10 badges!

John Schutzenhofer | New Title: End User Computing Engineer I, Corporate IT

What John does - John will be administering the IT Support ticketing and asset management system, IT Store and other platforms our IT teams use daily. He will maintain the Enhanced Visualization teams’ rendering farm in the St. Louis office, work on improving our standard laptop imaging process, configure Intune policies, build/test software deployments and enhance our IT chatbot.

Fun Facts - John was on a traveling soccer team from the ages of 7 to 21!

Blake Seesing | New Title: Accountant II, Accounting

What Blake does - Blake began his career here as an Accountant I within Financial Reporting, but will now take over as the lease accounting lead and become more involved in areas such as project-specific accounting and internal reporting.

Fun Facts - Blake has flown an airplane!

Vivian Sweeney | New Title: IT Support Senior Representative, Corporate IT

What Vivian does - Vivian is now focused on more complex technical challenges escalated from our Tier 1 IT Support team. She identifies, analyzes and tracks any trending support issues, while bringing other technical teams together to solve the root problem.

Fun Facts - Vivian’s husband, Brendan Sweeney, is a Project Engineer on the Mercy Ortho project and they both currently reside in Springfield, Mo. Vivian attended the Central Region Fall Seminar with Brendan in 2022 before joining MHI in March 2023!

India Wilson | New Title: Senior Risk Analyst, Risk Management

What India does - India is a dedicated Risk Management resource regarding trade partner insurance for the SoPac and NorPac regions. She continues to manage the trade partner Certificate of Insurance tracking program for projects in those regions.

Fun Facts - India is an avid traveler who is always on the go and ready to mark off a new city or country. She also used to play the cello and can read music.

Kristina De La Rosa | New Title: National Counsel, Legal

What Kristina does - In her current role, Kristina will focus on safeguarding the corporate veil, overseeing entity management and supporting Boards of Directors.

Fun Facts - Kristina is a dog lover and regularly fosters dogs in addition to owning her own. She enjoys soccer and travel – recently experiencing the trip of a lifetime on an African safari. Kristina is also a huge Brandi Carlile fan.
