OUR STORY Southern Design Companies got its start as a small landscaping company in North Atlanta back in 2009. We seek a dedicated leader with extensive knowledge in multifamily construction, specializing in landscaping, hardscapes, and concrete construction. While we value expertise in these fields, we are also prepared to train the right candidate in our internal processes. Our expectations are high, but so are the potential rewards and opportunities for growth.

Key qualifications include a strong understanding of irrigation, plant nomenclature, and the ability to interpret commercial landscape drawings and irrigation shop drawings, among other skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure project performance in terms of scope, quality, schedule, and cost.

Build strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers, coordinating job schedules effectively.

Manage subcontractors to ensure jobs are completed on time, within budget, safely, and up to the company's quality standards.

Monitor project margins, tracking expenses and revenues for each job.

Conduct job site inspections to ensure work scope and quality compliance.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement.

Adhere to OSHA safety protocols.

Create a positive and engaging work environment.

Expedite material deliveries according to project schedule requirements.

Review and approve material/equipment invoices in alignment with the project budget.

Required Skills/Abilities: Strong work ethic.

Exceptional attention to detail.

Proficiency in building and maintaining professional relationships.

Excellent organizational skills.

Effective and professional verbal and written communication.

Quick adaptability to various computer-based systems and processes.

Proven ability to meet deadlines.

Comfort with change and fast-paced work environments.

Strong conflict management and resolution skills.

Requirements: A minimum of 5 years of successful Project Management experience.

At least 3 years of experience in landscaping.

At least 3 years of experience in hardscape or concrete work.

Background in construction is preferred.

Valid Driver’s License.
