For each project, Osbee follows a comprehensive step-by-step process, guided by a dedicated organizational leaders. To gather as much information as possible about what’s desired in a system
To show what’s possible, how the system will be built, and provide a basis for feedback and refinement
To refine and perfect the system design and provide an estimate of costs for approval
To ensure everyone involved in the execution of the construction project understands the plans
To reach a final working plan and prepare for work to begin
To review the layout of the system on-site prior to wiring
To install the wiring and prepare for the trim phase
To finalize all work prior to installation of devices
To complete all physical system installations
To make the system fully functional and ready for use
To ensure clients get the most enjoyment from their new systems
Join Osbee, a leader in high-end home automation, as a Smart Home Technician in South Florida.
In this role, you'll work with elite clientele, installing and programming advanced smart home systems, including Crestron, Lutron, and Savant.
Based in South Florida, this position covers the region from Jupiter to Miami, with a primary focus on Palm Beach County.
Salary: $65,000 - $110,000, based on experience.
Benefits: 401(k) plan, 10 holidays, 16 personal days, company vehicle, laptop, phone, and tools provided.
System Installation: Install and program smart home technology (audio-visual, lighting controls, shades, and home theaters).
AV Rack Building: Assemble AV racks, wire, and set up equipment, including large TVs (up to 65”).
Team Collaboration: The Technician will also collaborate closely with key organizational leaders.
Experience: Previous experience with smart home automation systems (e.g. Control4, Crestron, Lutron, Savant) preferred. Related trade backgrounds (e.g., electrical, HVAC) welcomed.
Skills: Strong programming knowledge, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail. Professionalism is essential for interactions with high-end clients.
Physical Ability: Able to handle physical tasks, including lifting and installing equipment.
Elite Projects: Work on sophisticated, custom projects for discerning clients.
