Un centre culturel renommé depuis 1978 avec son musée archéologique gallo-romain, des expositions d’artistes internationaux, des concerts de musique classique, un musée de l’automobile unique et l’un des plus beaux parcs de sculptures d’Europe.

Erigé en 1867 puis rénové en 1923 et 1947, l’Hôtel de ville abrite la verrière d’Edmond Bille. Il s’agit du plus grand vitrail profane de Suisse, composé de trois panneaux qui évoquent certains épisodes du passé martignerain.
