MALVERN A&P SHOW

Recently, I was Blessed to have been driven by Tom Dunbar (married to Amelia nee Guild) on a recent 4WD, eight hour adventure around five local hill stations as a fundraiser for Windwhistle School. The whole journey was such a spiritual connection with the stunning views and listening to the family stories. The celebration of Easter is coming up, so I thought of weaving the Easter Story into this beautiful vista.

The Easter story reaches the hearts of everyone, as we journey through events leading up to Jesus arriving in Jerusalem on a humble donkey, an animal, which carries our burdens, our baggage, our stuff, which symbolises Hope when we hand over our brokenness to Jesus. Jesus’ crucifixion follows, and he dies on the cross. Days later, Jesus is resurrected from death and lives forever when we accept Him into our lives.

As we look at this image, we are reminded of God’s Love mirrored in us, as we reflect the message of Hope to others through our faith in Him.

“For God so Loved the World that He gave His one and only Son that whosoever believes in Him should not die but have Eternal Life.” (John 3:16).

Have a Blessed Easter!

Aunty Lyn (Ministry Team Leader: Malvern Co-operating Parish).
