“Dob in a Pot Hole” Our roads are littered with pot holes - you can help get them xed.

uring the severe weather events our roads across the Sunshine Coast have had been signi cantly impacted, due to the downpours. Sunshine Coast Council crews and contractors are out clearing debris and assessing our roads in ood-affected areas and xing pot holes so that the roads are again safely opened. Sunshine Coast Council welcomed the community’s assistance in locating any damaged roads and potholes that had emerged during this recent deluge. Landslips and falling trees can occur for weeks to come, so if you are on the roads, please be aware of that risk and always observe and follow any signage. Council maintains almost 3000km of local roads and bridges throughout the region. The community can help get things repaired faster by alerting
council to any repairs needed, especially on local residential streets. Please be mindful of road workers and hazard signs by slowing down to 40km/h to keep everyone safe. You can see road improvement works council is delivering, as well those being carried out by the Queensland Government’s Department of Transport and Main Roads. Roads Hub alerts you to road closures, crashes, hazards, ooding, road works, congestion, and special events. To report a pothole on state-controlled roads, please contact the Department of Transport and Main Roads on 13 19 40.
