Mask and Vaccination Mandates now gone so Maleny Show is all “A Go” The state government’s has made a decision to remove a ban on fun for the unvaccinated in Queensland. Whilst we should not be complacent, especially when it comes to a continued focus on the importance of vaccinations, the Queensland Government has decided to end the mandate for vaccinations and the need to “sign into” certain premises.

This decision was just in time for the Maleny Show as the State Government’s decision was announced on the afternoon of April 5th and as luck would have it the Maleny Show Society had planned a meeting on that night to decide if the 2022 Maleny Show would go ahead. The decision to remove the vaccination and “sign in” mandates does not mean that the obvious risks of a virus are no longer still be very serious – and deadly.
