Maleny District Sport & Recreation Club Community Newsletter Maleny Mens Shed Fires Up After the Covid hiatus that saw so many activities curtailed, the Maleny Mens Shed has well and truly restarted. The smithies have fired up the forge again (maybe the cold weather encouraged them!). Pictured below are Kevin and Ian making heat and noise – and maybe something interesting. A wide and varied group, the Mens Shed members range from young men to retired gentlemen, all with extensive skills in different forms.

Metal workers, blacksmiths and wood craftsmen are among those who attend the group, with their shed slowly filling up with tools of their trade. A place for Maleny men to get together, enjoy some hands-on activities, make new friends and talk about "men's business” over smoko. Maleny Mens Shed is located at Pioneer Village, 5 Bryce Lane. All men are welcome to drop in from 8 - 12 on Tuesdays and Fridays, phone 0491 710506 or for more information email malenymensshed@hotmail.com
