At Christmas time it’s sometimes easy to forget that there are families doing it tough, especially after the year that 2020 has been – and Maleny is no exception. But the spirit of giving and cooperation is always there in our wonderful town and it’s great to see local traditions are still going strong.
have generously provided vouchers. Don’t forget, the traditional Community Christmas Day Breakfast that is normally hosted by and held at the Neighbourhood Centre is still happening! However due to Covid restrictions the venue will be Bicentennial Park (next to the Neighbourhood Centre in Bicentenary Lane).

The picnic BBQ breakfast is from 8 - 10 am, with vegetarian options and there’s plenty of large shade trees; but please bring your own picnic blanket or chairs for this Covid safe event!
In previous years, the MNC would ask local businesses to create hampers which were then distributed to families in need. The vouchers mean that families can buy exactly what they need and continue to support local businesses. The MNC still throw in a few treats too!
