Mandatory Discrimination and Harassment Prevention Training: Due 09/30/24

Key Details:

Deadline: The mandatory training must be completed by September 30, 2024

Mandatory for: All Employees

Platform: Depending on your locality and role, your assignment is in Paycom or the CalChamber website.

Action Required: Overdue trainings will result in system suspension.

CONTINUING EDUCATION: Licensing continuing education is Due OCTOBER 1st. Please make sure you have signed up to complete these courses. Reach to Licensing@nfmlending.com if you need assistance.

WARM WEATHER ISN’T GONE JUST YET!

We aren’t ready to cozy up and enjoy hot soup just yet, but if you’re craving that chilly fall vibe, try out this gazpacho recipe that might just satisfy your soup craving!

INGREDIENTS

4 cups tomato juice (I use lower sodium)

1/2 cup finely chopped onion

1 clove garlic minced

1 bell pepper minced (I use a red pepper)

1 cucumber, peeled, seeded and minced juice of 1/2 lemon juice of 1 lime

1 teaspoon of basil (fresh is best)

2 -3 cups diced fresh tomatoes salt & pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

Combine all ingredients Chill and serve cold

Still in a fall vibe but not interested In soup? Try out this summer to fall inspired pizza that isn’t your typical Italian craving!

INGREDIENTS

1 pound pizza dough

1 teaspoon olive oil

Kosher salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste

1 teaspoon fresh thyme

1 pear sliced thin

INSTRUCTIONS

1/2 cup shredded smoked gouda cheese

1/2 cup shredded part skim mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup crumbled gorgonzola cheese

3 slices of prosciutto rolled up and sliced thinly

1 white onion, caramelized

Preheat oven to 450 degrees Spray a baking sheet or pizza stone with cooking spray

In a large skillet add 2 teaspoons of olive oil Heat over medium heat then add the sliced onion and cook until it softens and turns golden brown (about 10 minutes)

Roll the pizza dough out onto the sheet or stone Brush the teaspoon of olive oil all over the top of the dough, then sprinkle on salt, pepper, and the fresh thyme. Sprinkle the shredded cheeses and gorgonzola crumbles all over the pizza. Top evenly with the sliced pear, prosciutto, and caramelized onions. Bake the pizza for 10-15 minutes or until it is bubbly and golden. Remove from the oven and serve immediately.
