The first Porsche 356 produced in Germany was completed on 6 April 1950, marking the beginning of an extraordinary success story.
For decades, Zuffenhausen has been the centre of Porsche sports car production. It is also where engines, electric drive systems, and bespoke customer vehicles are manufactured. Production of the Porsche 356 began in Stuttgart 75 years ago. The first unit of the new model was completed in Zuffenhausen on 6 April 1950. With the start of series production of the Porsche 356, a success story began that remains inextricably linked to the brand’s sports cars to this day: the 911 – since 1964 – the 718 model range, and the fully electric Taycan are all produced there.
“Zuffenhausen is and will remain the cradle of our sports cars. It embodies pioneering spirit, cutting-edge production technology, and manufacturing quality,” says Albrecht Reimold, Member of the Executive Board for Production and Logistics at Porsche AG. “The development of this site shows how Porsche has grown from a small sports car manufacturer into a world-leading company producing exclusive vehicles.”

Después de dos años de renovación, lo primero que llama la atención del “nuevo” Hotel Palace, a Luxury Collection Hotel de Madrid, es su color. La fachada ha revivido el esplendor original de 1912 gracias al trabajo minucioso de Ruiz Larrea Arquitectura. Después de retirar varias capas de pintura debida a diferentes reformas a lo largo de más de un siglo, se ha descubierto el “color Palace” que es un beige cálido que contrasta con la terracota revelando ornamentos florales y guirnaldas que no habían sido visibles durante décadas.

También se ha restaurado la famosa cúpula y para ellos se desmontaron y restauraron los 1.875 vidrios con los que la armaron los maestros vidrieros Maumejean gracias al diseño de Eduardo Ferres i Puig.
El diseño de interiores ha corrido a cargo del estudio Lázaro Rosa- Violán, que ha sabido combinar a la perfección el lujo clásico con el diseño contemporáneo. El glamour y la sofisticación están en el corazón del diseño. Y el de los uniformes del personal al del creador Juanjo Oliva, que recuerdan a los que veíamos en las películas del Cine Mudo.
La precisión y la atención al detalle son la esencia de ambas disciplinas. Nicolas Bonneville luce un Reverso Tribute Small Seconds.
El resultado es un hotel moderno con un toque antiguo que nos lleva a recordar las figuras icónicas que allí se han alojado como Picasso, Dalí, Mata Hari, etc…
Curiosamente el Museo Bar ahora se llama 27 Club en homenaje a los poetas de la Generación del 27 que tanto lo frecuentaban.

The design of the Temerario has been carefully developed to combine Lamborghini’s pure and minimalist aesthetic with a unique personality. With short overhangs and refined aerodynamics, the Temerario retains the essence of the brand, but with its own character that makes it unmistakable. With a combined power output of 920 hp, its performance is exceptional, reaching a top speed of over 340 km/h and accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds.

Harvesting clay, washing ashes, respecting the rhythm of each task.
I see my workshop as a laboratory of experimentation, where ideas take root and the entire process unfolds. Each technique, each skill, the sensuality behind every movement, all define the language of craftsmanship. Only through practice and patience does the magic emerge.

When reformer and theologian John Calvin (15091564) banned the use of ostentatious decorative objects in Geneva, goldsmiths turned to embellishing watches, giving them an aesthetic and luxurious dimension. Its 45mm case, housing a silvered dial, is engraved in relief using the ornamental ramolayage technique. This method involves hollowing out the solid gold base to reveal arabesques and floral motifs, which are then smoothed with a file and polished. To enhance the composition, turquoise and amethyst stones are set on both sides of a raised enamel Grand Feu white-andblack serpent motif.

The first wristwatch with a tourbillon, this model holds historical significance for the Maison. The 38mm platinum case frames a silvered guilloché dial, featuring an open-worked tourbillon cage and a power reserve indicator at 12 o’clock on the vertical axis. For this model, the manually wound Caliber 1760 was developed, equipped with a tourbillon-regulated system powered by two barrels.
