As we look ahead, let us continue to embrace technology not just as a tool, but as a mindset, one that empowers us to lead, adapt, and transform. Together, we are not only building products, but shaping the future of mobility with purpose and pride.

Warm regards,

LUMAX GROUPDRIVING TOWARDS TOMORROW

In the ever-evolving landscape of automotive technology, Lumax Group stands as a beacon of innovation, engineering excellence, and strategic foresight. Comprising Lumax Industries Limited and Lumax Auto Technologies Limited, the Group has carved a formidable niche in India’s mobility ecosystem, serving nearly every major Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) in the country. With a legacy rooted in quality and a future defined by transformation, Lumax continues to redefine what it means to be a technology partner in the automotive sector.

At the heart of Lumax’s success is its expansive product portfolio, which spans lighting systems, integrated plastic modules, telematics, electrical and electronics components, gear shifters, and more. This

diversity not only reflects the Group’s technical depth but also its agility in responding to the dynamic needs of OEMs across passenger, commercial, and two-wheeler segments. Whether it’s a compact city car or a high-performance SUV, Lumax components are integral to the driving experience, often debuting in the latest vehicle launches across India.

A key di erentiator for Lumax is its strategic approach to global collaboration. Through Joint Ventures with leading international players, the Group brings cutting-edge technologies to Indian roads, technologies that meet the expectations of a discerning customer base increasingly exposed to global standards. These partnerships have enabled Lumax to stay ahead of the curve, integrating advanced lighting solutions, smart electronics, and connected vehicle systems that align with global trends in safety, e ciency, and user experience.

Technology related statements:

Lighting technology in the Indian automotive industry is undergoing a rapid transformation driven by the shift toward premiumisation, safety regulations, and energy e ciency. OEMs are adopting LED, projector, and DRL-based architectures even in entry and mid-segment vehicles, improving visibility, styling di erentiation, and power consumption. The rise of EVs is accelerating

this change, with OEMs leveraging full-width LED signatures, animated welcome sequences, and intelligent light controllers to create brand identity and enhance user experience. At the same time, the supply base is moving toward higher local value addition in optics, drivers, and semiconductors, while preparing for next-gen technologies such as adaptive beam arrays, micro-LED modules, and connected lighting that integrates with ADAS and telematics

Our automotive ecosystem is undergoing a sweeping technology transformation with no just electrification but with digitization, and intelligent electronics reshaping vehicle architectures and also playing a change agent role with Manufacturing Excellence. OEMs are transitioning from mechanically dominant platforms to software-defined, electronics-heavy designs powered by advanced power electronics, high-energy battery systems, domain controllers, and

connected vehicle stacks. This shift is complemented by the rise of ADAS, cybersecurity frameworks, OTA-enabled electronics, and data-driven lifecycle management. Simultaneously, Tier-1s are moving up the value chain-localizing semiconductors, sensors, and ECUs; expanding capabilities in embedded software and powertrain electronics; and adopting automation and AI-enabled manufacturing.

The Lumax group must continue evolving from a traditional component manufacturer into a holistic electronics-driven systems provider, aligning with the rapid shift toward intelligent, software-enabled mobility. This transformation requires deepening capabilities in advanced lighting electronics, sensors, actuators, and integrated mechatronic systems while strengthening in-house competencies in embedded software, power electronics, and semiconductor-driven architectures. Lumax should move toward modular, platform-ready

solutions-such as intelligent lighting modules, ADAS-aligned sensing components, electronics centric, and connected body-control systems, supported by robust design, validation, and cybersecurity frameworks. At the same time, investing in R&D partnerships, local electronics ecosystems, and digital manufacturing will be critical to improving innovation speed, cost competitiveness, and resilience, enabling Lumax to play a larger role in India’s transition to future-ready, software-defined vehicles.

In a world where vehicles are becoming more than machines, evolving into digital platforms and lifestyle extensions, Lumax Group’s technical expertise is the silent force driving this transformation. For employees, partners, and customers alike, it’s a story of pride, purpose, and progress.
