Motorsports enthusiasts, get ready for an incredible sponsorship season! In 2024, we supported over 500 racing teams across various disciplines, and 2025 promises to be even more exciting. From auto-X to drifting, circle track to off-road 4x4, we're committed to supporting drivers at every level.
Our racing program isn't just about sponsorship — it's about empowering dreams. We believe in supporting drivers who might otherwise be excluded from racing due to financial constraints, giving talented racers a chance to shine.
Our 35th Annual Tradeshow is set to be our most spectacular yet, happening April 2-3, 2025, at the Pacific Coliseum and PNE Agrodome in Vancouver. This isn't just a tradeshow — it's a celebration of automotive excellence that has become the largest of its kind in Canada.
At Lordco, we're more than an auto parts company. We're a community-driven organization dedicated to bringing people together, supporting local initiatives, and celebrating the automotive passion that drives us all.

In the early days of automobiles, drivers relied on hand signals instead of brake or turn lights. The first brake lights appeared in 1905, and by 1928, they became mandatory in several US states, significantly improving road safety and vehicle communication.

This month, we’re looking at Musculoskeletal Injury (MSI) Prevention Awareness! This month is all about raising awareness for preventable injuries and spreading the importance of working, playing, and living safely. We will be looking at MSIs to learn what they are and how to keep ourselves and each other safe!
What Is a Musculoskeletal Injury (MSI)?
Some of the tasks at work – such as lifting, reaching, and repetition of movements, can cause strain. In some cases, these repetitive, straining tasks can result in an injury to the body. Areas affected can include muscles, tendons, ligaments, nerves, or blood vessels. Additionally, joints in the neck, shoulders, arms, wrists, legs, and back may be affected.
Musculoskeletal injuries are a very common workplace injury in Canada and MSIs are also the most common type of injury at Lordco. Since these injuries are so common, it’s important to know the signs and how to prevent these injuries from occurring.
Signs and Symptoms of Musculoskeletal Injuries
Signs of a musculoskeletal injury, which can be observed, include swelling, redness, and difficulty moving certain body parts. Symptoms, which can be felt, include numbness, tingling, or pain in the body. If you are experiencing any of these signs or symptoms, be sure to speak with your supervisor to ensure that you receive the proper care and adjustments you need to keep yourself working safely.
How Can We Prevent Musculoskeletal Injuries?
There are plenty of ways to prevent musculoskeletal injuries, but below are some tips to help:
1. Warm up and stretch. Before starting repetitive, static, or prolonged activities, be sure to warm up and stretch
2. Take breaks. If possible, take breaks from repetitive functions by switching tasks every so often.
3. Implement control measures. Use proper lifting techniques and ergonomic equipment whenever possible. 4. Stay fit. Take care of your body and make sure it is in good condition to prevent injuries.
If you’re looking for more guidance on how to stay safe, Lordco has you covered! Visit the Health & Safety tab on Lordco Connect at lordcoconnect.com to find more safety information. There are lots of resources available including health and safety guides, safety training videos, monthly safety topics, and safety refresher sheets. These resources can help keep you refreshed and up to date on your safety knowledge! Check out our health and safety resources to reduce your risk of musculoskeletal and other preventable injuries!
Matthew Daily - Maple Ridge #89
I just wanted to drop you a quick note and tell you what an amazing employee you have in Matthew Daily. I was in there a few weeks ago with my friend looking for bulbs for my headlights. Not only was he incredibly knowledgeable, but he was kind and so incredibly accommodating. It is rare in this day and age to not only get absolutely incredible service but from somebody so young. Thank you so much Matthew for making our experience with Lordco a memorable one. Yours sincerely,
Joolz pearson
Chase Carre - Enderby #62
I was the only one in the store and was left waiting for service, while employees were chating on the computer. Chase came out and told his fellow colleagues there a customer and he stopped stocking shelfs to assit. I was very satisfied with this level of customer service I recieved from Chase

Philip Senkler - Victoria #37
I had to buy a battery today, and was struck by how nice and helpful the people in your Victoria (Burnside Ave) store were. The first guy who helped me was helping a recent immigrant before me and was super patient and friendly with the guy. Then he was super patient and friendly with me (I’m not a car guy). And Phil (different service person) was very helpful with some questions I had. And the woman at checkout was very nice too. I bought more than I probably would have, had the service not been so great, because I was confident that the extra purchase was worthwhile. That’s because your staff were so nice and helpful that I trusted their advice. Just thought I’d mention it. Great store you’re running.
Best,
Martin Farnham
Terry Arinobu - N. Vancouver #24
After the wrong part was ordered, Terry caught the error and quickly reordered the right one. He phoned us first thing the next morning to advise that the part had arrived and he had us on our way. The customer service was outstanding. Thanks Terry!
